Disign Blanks

I am new at this so it may be out of line but I think it would be really helpful if disigners who have created blanks of their disigns would post their blanks all here in one spot so that we could personalize more on our own without bothering you all so much.... just a thought.

That would be a lot of work and time as there are a TON of blanks out there and every time a DISigner posts an image on the board it takes up space in their photobucket and 4shared accounts. Even though you can get a free account...a lot of DISigners pay for storage as they make sooo many things for others they run out of free space. If you find a DISigner that you like, look through their 4shared and photobucket accounts and a lot of times you will find blanks for DISigns that are your favorites. If you don't find a blank, feel free to ask them for a one so that you can personalize it yourself. If you are traveling with a big group it is a lot easier to pass on a blank than have to change it 8+ times with different names. Most DISigners do not mind giving out their blank DISigns for others to personalize. I hope that helps you a little.

Dolly is absolutely correct, there are multiple reasons why we won't just post blanks - another reason Dolly didn't go into, is that there has been a problem of people taking blanks and then selling them on ebay or other places.
Not only is that copyright infringment - per Disney - but it is also very clearly WRONG to steal someones work and then pass it off as yours AND make money off of it.

NONE of us here charge for our designs per copyright issues - so long as we keep them FREE - we can do our designs.

BUT, there are some people out there who abuse this - so a lot of us won't just post our blanks.


However, like Dolly said, if you find a designer you like - you can ask them for the blank - usually, they will give it with no problems. And as stated, if you search photobuckets or shared files, you may find blanks.

Also know that none of us mind doing customizing.

Another smart thing to do is search for wallpapers. Meaning, if you are looking for some christmas designs. Google Disney Christmas wallpaper or Mickey Christmas wallpaper. If you are looking for a specific character, google them as a wallpaper. Remember, the bigger the wallpaper size the better it is to "blow-up" in your design. Will not be as fuzzy as a small one.

Also, alot of us make our own designs, characters or whatever. If you something you like in a wallpaper, but do not really like the background it's self. Cut the "something you like" out of the back ground.
