Someone posted on another thread that she'd been able to take out the "spinning arm" thing in the bottom of her dishwasher and clean underneath (where the water shoots out). I've been trying and can't seem to get mine out. Any ideas?

I'm also unscrewing the "food catcher" looking thing and cleaning under there.

I've been having problems with it not shooting the water out right.

It's a GE. I guess it's a "Nautilus".

I posted about being able to take out the spinning arm thing. Mine just lifts out. Does yours have a screw in the center holding it in place???

Does the instruction manual say anything????

Nope, no screw thing in the center. And it appears to be one piece with the bottom of the dishwasher.

Of course...when I first started having the problem, I read through the troubleshooting section in the manual.....and I didn't put the manual back in the drawer! So it's somewhere downstairs here....but I can't find it.

That's the manual, thanks Dan. I did see how to remove the plastic sump cover (which I was already able to do), but no way to remove the actual arm thingy where the water shoots out.
