Dishwasher detergent / jacuzzi ?

We will be staying in our first dishwasher equipped unit in June. I know that they give you some detergent initially. How many loads will that last, and do they bring more at towel and trash service time? Also, what jacuzzi cleaning method is recommended before using?

There should be plenty of dishwasher detergent in your room. If you runout, they will bring you more.

For the jacuzzi tubs, I've seen it suggested to fill it with hot water and run it a few minutes with some dishwasher detergent.

I'm sure some clean freaks will disagree, but I don't think you need to do anything to clean the jacuzzi. We've been staying at Old Key West since 1992, always use the jacuzzi, and we've never required hospitalization. I would recommend some candles and a bottle of champagne, however.
