I am not AT ALL defending Ben but at what point do these girls have to take some accountability? They knew exactly who they were with from the very beginning. If he did what he is accused of he should be punished but as long as girls continue to throw themselves at pro players (see Cobe Bryant) these problems are going to exist .

I think too many of these situations are lawsuit/financial settlement draws - get enough attention to win big $$, even if the criminal charges don't stick.

I think the NFL shouldn't find a player guilty and punish them when they weren't ever charged/convicted.

Because he broke the rules regarding the NFL code of conduct. That doesn't mean he is guilty of any crime.

Same charges, though he took the woman to his room. She has bruises to prove it. They never charged him and from what I can find or should I say can't find, he never got anything from the NFL either.

Soooo... what you are saying is if I, for example, hung out with a famous athelete and he raped me that it would be my fault because I hung out with him?

Victim blaming at it's finest.

Women should be able to hang out with whoever they want to whenever they want to without being raped. The same thing goes for wearing short skirts, walking alone at night or drinking at a bar. Period. Rape or abuse victims are never at fault.
