Do you want to know where we live now or where we are "from"?

We are an Air Force family (now retired). When one of my DDs was in 1st or 2nd grade, we had just completed a move. She came home from school and asked, "When people ask where are we from? Do they mean where I lived last, where I was born or where Grandpa and Grandma live?"

Anyway, I was born in Wisconsin but have lived in Illinois, Ohio, Colorado(twice), Arizona, Texas, Mississippi, Virginia, Alabama and Hawaii. Am now residing in Nebraska until our next move.... yet to be decided!

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In fact, I watched the 1984 Olympics opening ceremony fireworks from my bedroom window. When DH and I got married, we bought a home in West Covina, California. DH and I moved to Overland Park, Kansas last year. We are about 10 minutes from Missouri though.

I was born in Plattsburg, New York (another Air Force brat, here) but Mississippi is home. I live an hour from the Mississippi gulf coast, 2 hours from Mobile, 2 hours from New Orleans and 2 hours from Jackson,MS--our city's nickname is the "Hub City" because we are right in the middle of everything.

DH and I were both born, raised, and make our home in So Maryland, sometimes called 'America in Miniature' . Altho we've traveled 48 states, we still love Maryland as our home. It's known for it's diversity as we can travel a short distance to mountains and ocean, urban and rural, historic and modern. Great place to raise a family or visit and you gotta' love our yummy crabs/crab cakes!!!!!!!

Live in Idaho now but still have a place in Oregon. When we retire we will split time between Oregon and a place we're buying in Clearwater Florida.
