Renee... my kids leave August 2... that is almost as good as a vacation, right?

Our trip to the mountains isn't until August 31. I am looking forward to it in some ways. I picked the house to rent this year... so there is a lot of pressure for it to be "perfect." Sometimes it tough to tell if the place is nice or a dump from the pics.

I never saw that before and I even signed up on the PhotoPass site before our trip to Disney. I am hoping it is something new so I don't feel as though I could have had that savings!

Sorry you didn't see it! I saved 40% on my photos and could have saved 20% on the cd, but I didn't want it. There was a very small hidden link in the right bottom corner that I discovered before I checked out and found the discount. I actually first came across the 20%, then poked around a little more and found the 40%.

We bought TWO LAPTOPS yesterday... woo hoo .... so I'm excited about bringing ours away when we travel... I am so lost without my internet and email!

Pouring rain today - if it lets up a little I think Dana and I are going shopping.. if not, we will continue to tackle and purge these closets!

That's just my luck! Last year we missed the bounce back free dining by less than a week. This year I miss the Photo CD savings. If you want a good deal on anything... purchase it 1 week after me, and you are guaranteed to save a fortune!

I stayed busy all weekend. Sat they had a huge kids consignment sale. I bought Tucker 5 pairs of jeans/cords, 4 shorts, and a pair of BRAND NEW Arizona shoes. I got Avery 9 pairs of jeans/pants, 7 tops, and 2 dresses. All for the bargain price of $140. I love going to that sale... I can usually outfit both kids for the school year. After I got home from shopping, I had to take the kids to a birthday party. They had 2 bounce houses, a giant slide, kiddie pools, slip and slide... the works.

were is the 20% discount? I haven't bought the CD yet (I e-mailed them because they took 5 pics of us with Mickey, and only the first one has his signature to add, and we aren't even posing with him yet)

Sounds like a successful shopping trip, Kari! I used to love to go to the "sample sales" that a big rep from Health-tex used to run at the Hilton a few times a year - all his samples that he would bring to Bloomingdales, Saks, Lord & Taylor for their buyers to see... he would sell them (tags still on) for great savings. Who cares if it was last seasons style on a 2 year old?!

OK... my day just turned really ugly. Avery just came down to show me her new do. She has whacked off her hair at chin length on both sides of her head. I am going to have to take her to get it cut this evening. I am SO upset! She had the prettiest hair...

Kari! I would be screaming. Avery does (did) have the most beautiful long hair. But, you should have hid the scissors more carefully! It's all your fault. Now I'm going to banish scissors from my home!

Yes, she cut it big time. You should see the handful of hair in my trashcan! DM, Jackie... run immediately and hide your scissors! Mine were in my sewing table with stuff piled on top of the compartment that she had to move to get the scissors. She plays with scissors all the time, and has never even mentioned cutting her hair. Heck... she cried when I evened it up a few months ago because I cut too much off!

OMGoodness!!!!! My sister clumped a piece of bangs once, and Dana did a tiny snip in Kindergarten, but nope... nothing that drastic!!

You always have to wonder when they are "too quiet"...... It's just never a good thing, unless they are snoring......

Look at it this way, Kari, you can get her an adorable "bob" now... And chin up, it DOES grow back...
