I started packing today! This is so last minute of me! usually I'm packed a week before I leave for a trip... Things have just been too hectic to actually get WDW packing done! But, now that I've got the suitcases down, I feel like it's actually real!!!!! Maddie's staying at my parents house- her grandparents =) They spoil her rotten when she goes there... I can't wait to see what they do with real grandkids! We miss her so much when we're gone... I usually call home about once a day to check on her... And she always rides with my mom to pick us up from the airport! She gets so excited to see us!

I started packing today! This is so last minute of me! usually I'm packed a week before I leave for a trip... Things have just been too hectic to actually get WDW packing done! Tomorrow is 2 days for you and 4 for me. Will you be posting while you are down there? I'll be interested in seeing where you are at Pop...maybe our rooms will be close so we can stalk each other...I'll be looking for your TFW Lanyard...I'll have one on too!

DM - I love the final countdown link. I just watched it with the kids.

We went to Nick Hotel Tuesday-Thursday. We had a really great time. I know a lot of people give Nick Hotel bad reviews, but this was our third year going and we have never had a bad experience. The kids love it.

On Friday we went to DTD. We ate at Wolfgang Puck Express Cafe. It was really good. I got the kids their lanyards and two pins each. This is the first year the twins will be getting pins. They went crazy. They were picking up every pin and wanting them all. I got them each a Happy Birthday pin for their lanyards. I will give them these pins our first day for birthday presents. It was a lot of fun to see them so excited. I also got my older boys the pressed penny books. The books are nice.

When we were leaving DTD, one of the twins, Justin, he was crying and crying because he didn't want to leave. He kept saying "Mickey wants me to stay" and "I don't want to leave". It was really pitiful. The other twin, Joel, kept telling him "Don't worry we are coming back". I have a feeling this year will be different because they are older and really love Disney.

Sorry so late getting these up been very busy today. Here is the new me at 11:45 pm after a long day, got up at 8:30 this morning.

Got to get to bed, after midnight and will be getting up at 4am to get on the road by 5am. Won't be back on til next Sat or Sun. Wish everyone well and have a safe trip down to see Mickey.

Hi Mandy thanks for all the updates. Have you noticed any decrease in services or offerings at the Polynesian concierge?. Their have been reports of the other resorts cutting back and was wondering if the Polynesian had too. We're going to be there again in 08'. Thanks!

Joyce... what is happening with your van???????????

Weird but it actually started after they removed the tree DH drove it to the bottom of the driveway with 1/2 his body out of the car . The town is trying to decide who owns the property as the tree was inches from the pavement & they claim they only own the pavement I'm really hoping its theirs. Even a thousand or two would really help with a downpayment on the new car. DH and I are going again tonight to look at used cars.

Courtney your not alone on the packing. I'm always done by now.

Well we are finally in FLordia, but not at Disney. We will officially be at Disney tomorrow. After 2 long days in the car , we finally made it to Florida yesterday. My parents live North of Fort Lauderdale. It was hard not getting on I-4 but stayed on I-95 towards Ft Lauderdale. I kept thinking "bye mickey, will see you in a few days.
The car ride well..it was pretty hairy at times. My almost 3 yr old DOES NOT sleep in the car. The first day we got a flat tire right before "South of the border"...That took us over 2 hrs to get fixed.My husband never bothered checking the spare before we left. So we were delayed. The kids got antsy even though we had 2 separate dvd players,gameboys, even playstation UGH..
Faith was cranky on and off, as she is a girl who needs her nap.No nappy at all the daywe left. SHe only slept for about 30 minutes in the car, and that was after the Benadry kicked in.We stopped at the South Carolina/Georgia border for the night and it was a nice hotel.
Tomorrow Mickey, here we come FINALLY

Town Car Reservations have been made. Go, Me! (prices are considerably higher in NJ than in Florida. lol) I waited until now because we were hoping there would be a cancellation at the Dolphin and we could go stay there on Thursday night when our flight arrives. No luck, so I'm just keeping the Hyatt Regancy reservation - we'll stay there and the car will pick us up Friday morning at 9am - head over to the Dolphin, check in , drop our bags, and head to Epcot or MGM. Then we'll return when the room is ready, unpack, and head back to Epcot for our Rose & Crown reservations.

Dana & I are heading out to Costco to have a CD made of graduation photos -so I can clear the camera's memory card and have it empty for all our DISNEY photos!

Hoping to have all the clothes ready for packing this evening... I need to have Dana & I completed so that I can give BOB my undivided attention with his clothes choices!

Rob actually got out all his shorts and tee-shirts for the trip. He has more than I do! I told him to leave the things that need pressing on our drier and I'll get to that before I pack it all. He almost packed a tee-shirt that I did not approve of. Luckily I reminded him of a newer, nicer tee that I had just bought him. I saved the day!

Laura, I was also wondering about the pool!

I am currently taking a break. The kids were exhausted and took a nap just now! Very early. I feel like I'm going through internet withdrawal. Then my mother is coming over with my baby sister and my niece to play. Guess I won't be doing a lot of packing today.

My MIL is supposed to come over tomorrow and stay for about three days. We can hope I can get most things done then. My biggest problem is that we have mice in the garage and we've put out poison so I'm waiting for Mick to come save the day! So icky! It should be the last of 'em though so it should all be fine by tomorrow in that area.

I wonder how Rags is doing.
