Just quickly checking in! We spent the entire day at the park swimming and BBQing. DH's sister, cousin and 2 nephews (3 year old twin boys) are visiting from NYC. We had a really nice day. But I got no packing done!!!

Joyce - I'm so sorry about the car! My mouth dropped open in shock when I saw the pics, too. Let us know how things work out!

Mandy - jealous doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now...

Hi all
Just quickly checking in from Downtown Disneys Disney Quest! Had a great day today at Animal Kingdom and then over to Whispering Canyon Cafe for tea.... never ate much dessert though so I might just have to stuff my face a bit more and have soe cheesecake form the cheesecake factory express counter here... hmmm what should I do....well it is my wedding anniversary so i will have another dessert and besides I am on my holidays!

OK confession time. My dh, Chris doesn't know about my Trip Report, so all of you must keep your knowledge of Oblivia and the Do Over on the down-low! And for the ultimate irony he just left to go to Home Depot, and I gave him one of my LGMH's and told him to get 5-10 more. He asked "WHY?" I said, "You don't want to know, Honey!"

Laura - how is Chris's pool installation coming? Still on schedule?

Joyce - I'm SO SORRY about the van and the tree!! That had to be QUITE a shock! Good luck straightening everything out!

Courtney- Congrats on the recital! Those little ones are precious. I remember Dana's first (AND last!) dance recital at age 4 - the class went right, Dana went left... the class had their hands down, Dana had her hands up... she was the comic relief, for certain. They even sent her back out and blow a kiss to the audience after the number, that's how comical she was. Of course, she was oblivious....That's my girl...

Mandy- Your pictures were great! What a view!!!

DM- Don't worry - I may have the toiletries packed, but the rest is going to take DAYS..........

Yes, I have...everything is still the same with the cruise...Wednesday 6/27 at 9pm to fill out paperwork and pay at the Contemporary Marina...the boat leaves at 9:30 and Wishes is at 10pm.

Let me know if you need any more info. I'm excited about the cruise!!!

Have any of you ever bought a sun visor at WDW? If so do you remember how much they were? When I was at my sister's house today I told her how much I was NOT looking forward to wearing a baseball hat all week. Well, she had a sun visor that she had gotten in Hawaii and had me try it on. It looks so much better on me than a bb hat does. I'm hoping they sell them down there & I kind of wanted to know how much to expect to pay for one. I guess I'm going to try to get one a Wal-Mart before we leave in case I can't find one at WDW right away.

Oh Joyce. So sorry about your van, glad to hear that your DH friend didn't charge you for the cutting of the tree.

That alone saved us thousands of dollars.

OKay so now we are in our official room, we have an amazing view of MK. It's perfect and I mean perfect. We went to Seaworld today, I got burnt but I'll be fine by tomorrow morning. We had Uno's for lunch and oh it was so good. Now I'm relaxing in the room, just chillin. I will say this though, it's not as hot as I have seen it in Florida at least not to me it isn't.


We came back from being gone today to have a towel animal in the shape of mickey's head.

It's good to be home.

Joyce - I'm so sorry about your van. I know you had to be upset but at least everything worked out with not having to pay to have the tree removed.

I had a bit of good news last night. My employer from the data entry job offered me their Explorer to use until we go away. We're going to pick it up this morning. Take care everyone.

Two things to remember with a sunvisor, Sonya....
1. watch out for sunburn on your scalp (part in your hair)!
2. the top of your head still gets pretty HOT!

I like the look of the sunvisor better than the baseball cap, too - but I found the hot head feeling was too much to bear for the sake of fashion! DANA, on the other hand......
