Does anybody have "Pal Mickey"?

We bought one on Ebay back in 2003. I thought the kids would love it but he was hard to hear unless you held him right up close. I think we took him to 2 parks and then forgot about him.

I will try bringing him again this year as the kids are older and they may like him better. I just don't think they got it last time.

Good morning all! I'm back at work today. It's funny. Yesterday when I was home I was feeling better but now that I'm at work I'm feeling worse again. I have ONE WEEK to get rid of this cold and hope that no one else gets it. Grrrr...I hate sickness.

Sorry I haven’t replied in the past couple days.
On Tuesday night my boyfriend asked me to take him to the ER because he was in so much pain. I’ve been telling him for a very, very long time now that he needed to get to a doctor…but did he listen to me? Noooo !!! I had to get my DD9 out of bed at 10pm and didn’t get her back home and into bed until after 1:30 am. I was not a happy camper and made sure he knew it. I pushed the snooze button in the morning and the darn thing never rang again so we had to really rush to get her ready for the school bus. So, very early Wednesday morning he ended up having to have surgery for a perforated ulcer. Good thing I’m on the bench right now while my consulting firm tries to find me another contract. Unfortunately Friday is my last day and I’ll be officially unemployed next week . Truthfully, I wouldn’t mind having the summer off, but hate not having the money for any extras.

OK, that’s just not enough stress sooooo…the stupid dog tangles with a skunk first thing this morning and the skunk sprays. I think he just got a light misting but the back corner of my house and yard STINK to high heaven !!! So, the stupid dog has been outside ever since, and he’s not too happy and won’t stop barking. I moved him to another area of the yard and will check again later to see if he really got sprayed or not. It smells so bad out there that I can’t tell. I went outside and sprayed Fabreeze on the trash cans, lawn and siding on the house. I will give him a nice Dawn bath later. I think I’m going to spray down the yard and siding with bleach water if I can find the sprayer we use for weed killer.

So, how is that for my Single Digit Dance?

Attention fellow DIS Stalkers!

Thanks to CK's great call, I have decided to put out our combined Trip Report earlier than I intentioned. For any of you that will be able to report "Live from the World" this new thread would be the place to do it. I still would like to keep that thread for our trip reports only and not for the normal chit-chat. We can still chat here and afterward on another new thread I will start on the Community Board just for fun chit chatting.

I changed what I was originally going to post for our TRs so I wanted to run this by you all before I actually start it up. I hope to start it up later today. Here is what I have come up with...

DISers stalking DISers....our end of June vacation trip reports!

There were quite a few DIS Stalkers who started to get together in March on a little pre-trip report called “DISers Stalking DISers...our end of June schedules”. While quite a few joined in the thread, there were definite “regulars” who slowly got to know each other and became good friends.

One day I asked the regulars if they planned on writing a trip report after their vacation. Some said yes, like me, and some said no way. The ones that said no gave reasons such as that they had tried to do it in the past and had no followers so gave up or that they were just too lazy to do one.
So, I thought it would be a great idea if we banded together and did a group trip report. Any of us could write as much or as little as they wanted without all the pressure that goes into a TR.

I was going to start this trip report right before I left on our vacation (June 22) but Crazy Kanga thought that there would be some of us that may want to post live reports. What a great idea!

I may have to warn you that it will probably get very long so as each of us posts our different days and reports, I will try to keep up with it and place links here on the first page.

So....sit back and relax and join in reading this combined trip report......

PatW - Yikes! Talk about stress! I hope your bf is feeling better and has a quick recovery. And good luck with the dog! My parents' dog is always getting sprayed. It's such a pain!

Not sure who start the post but the ride I am most looking forward to is EE and RRC - love them both ------------ the show I like - well can't pick just one - I like Wishes, Fantasmic, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and the new Nemo show.... The meal I am most excited about - well there again I can't just pick one - but for different reasons.... my DD and I love France - so we are excited for Chefs de France.... but my Mom and Aunt have never been to the character meals so I am excited to take them there... I think they will love CP and Cinderella Gala Feast


I have not even thought of packing..... yikes.... Maggie is in the midst of Regents exams... for those who don't live in NY we have a state wide exam given at the end of the year... same test to all the kids in the state... well 11th grade is the big year for Regents - her English exam is a 2 day test... we aren't to worried about this one thought as she reecived the award in her school for highest grade point average in English.... Math - well that's another story... then Chemistry, American History.... then to top it off it is Dance recital time... that is Saturday - with rehersals last night and Firday night - then my whole family is coming in to town for the recital so I have to get me house ready.... mean while Daniel is going thru his exams and playing on 2 baseball teams..... the pool water is cloudy... the lawn needs to be cut.... and I have out of town clients here for Fri, Sat and Sun...... thank goodness we don't leave to go to Buffalo (that's where Mom lives and we are flying out of there) until next Thurs.... anyway... I have to run to the office because I am also covering for another agent who had to go out of town.....

It's from a commercial that plays in Orlando for a store called Appliance Direct. It is hilarious! This guy runs all over the store talking about how much he loves appliances. Seriously, while you're there, flip around the channels at night and you'll probably come across it.

Split stay SSR June 23-26 adn then to BC for the rest of the trip

traveling with DH and 2 DS, DS#1 is 13 adn DS#2 is 3

We are so excited. DS#2 keeps saying he wasnts to go to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Disney World. It's his 5 trip.
