Hey! We're TOT'ing with you, too! :goodvibes
(when would you say you need to get a fastpass? - we're having dinner at 50's PT Cafe earlier that evening.)
Renee
Sorry, I didn't mean to leave you out. I really am not sure about what time to get the fast pass though. I would guess around 2 or 3 hours prior, but not really sure. You may want to stop by and ask the person working the fastpass area what they think, since it probably varies depending on the crowds. Also, I have heard if it isn't very crowded(which it shouldn't be that late) they will let you use an expired fastpass, but I'm not 100% sure about that either.:confused3

I am having a TS credits problem

right now I have 6 credits, as of right now I have the following ADR's

Sci-Fi
CRT-breakfast (2)
Narcoossee (2)
Le Cellier

I still have 2 meals I have to eat. (assuming I use 1 CS credit per day) I'm not sure if I should pay OOP for CRT and use the 2 credits for separate meals, or pay OOP for Sci-Fi and one other meal (that way I could eat at a TS or CS at my leisure)

Thoughts?:confused3

We had an "extra" meal that we wanted so I have calculated it several ways and for us (2 real adults, 1 "Disney" adult (DD10) & 1 child) it is cheaper for us to pay OOP for CRT breakfast and have 2 other meals on the DDP than to pay OOP for the other 2...I can't remember which ones I calcluated but I think it was for Donald's and Chef Mickeys. So we will be paying OOP for CRT...I'm not sure if it is worth what it costs but we got another 8:05am seating and the look on my girls' faces when the Princesses come out is PRICELESS, especially our little one...we know these days won't last forever so we're going to go while they still enjoy it!

Here is my most recent updated itinerary

I'm impressed with your scheduling...I don't think that I could plan by the hours like you have. But you also don't have a 3 year old like I do so maybe someday I can do that too!!

I couldn't do that either. I have a 3-year-old too but I still don't think I'd want to be that tight with scheduling once they are older. Maybe not so much tight with scheduling, but the hopping around part. I think my kids would go batty on me for too many different places on the same day.

However, everyone knows their own families and their needs/expectations. So, good for you CK that you can do that!

well, right now I am only eating once on Monday and Tuesday;)

That's why I'm thinking of paying OOP for Sci-Fi, then just playing it by ear for the last meal

Unless your only getting a hamburger I would definitely pay OOP for CRT.

I am sure you all missed me - especially you Joyce! It was a busy busy morning for me. I needed to go grocery shopping, then out to the Disney Store to see if I could finally purchase the gift cards, then out to a propane gas distribution place for Rob, then out to lunch. I need to catch up on all my other subscribed threads!

does anyone know the lunch/dinner time breakout?

I can't seem to find what time lunch neds and dinner begins

FYI- I really want a burger and milkshake at Sci-Fi, that's why I am thinking of OOP there

Well, we're all a little ADD so we need to change things up or we might get bored. No, really, there is no telling if we will really keep to it that strictly. It's more of a guide than anything. We are always very flexible, but do better if we have somehat of a plan in place to keep us from standing around sayin "what do you want to do, I don't know what do you want to do?":headache: That makes me so crazy!

I think that at most places the changeover is at around 3:45.

Now where is everyone? It's been 3½ hours since CK posted. :confused3 Is everyone busy shopping for their trips, or maybe packing? Don't even tell me you're reading other threads...:lmao:

I've been thinking about starting our new thread for our combined trip reports. I won't actually start it until close to the time that I leave but want to have it all ready to go. I want the wording on the first post to be good and well received. Since I considered what a huge thread this will ultimately turn out to be, I wondered if we could keep it going slowly so as not to overwhelm everyone coming in to add their own experiences, etc.

Anywhoooo, please read what I potentially have down and let me hear your comments and/or suggestions on re-wording or additions. Thanks!! Our next thread will be totally awesome.

DISers stalking DISers....our end of June vacation trip reports!

We’ve returned from our vacations and now it’s time to share with each other our thoughts, reviews, and pictures.

Since I am sure that there will be a load of posts all at once, may I make a request? Let’s try to post 1 picture each a day and describe to your heart’s content about that picture.

Also, on the same line, let’s try to post only 1 full day’s report at a time. None of us want to come into this thread and have to read through 30 pages every day because everyone has posted multiple days’ worth.

My suggestion will not only let us “drag out” our wonderful time spent in Disney World but will also let us comment on each other’s individual experiences! Also, remember that we all return on different dates so people joining in later will have a lot to read. Let’s not overwhelm at once please!

When I return, I will place links here on the first post as to individual day reports and/or photos...hopefully that will be my goal.

So, welcome back and let’s get started.....

This sounds great to me...I think it is a good idea to start off with some ground rules...I can't wait to read about everyone's trips!!!

I think this works out fine. It will be nicer for those of us who are coming in later in the month/early July if we don't have to read hundreds of pages. And if you link to the reports, we don't have to read all the "awww, that's beautiful!", etc if we don't want to.

Sounds pretty good... my only negative comment is that if we post a whole day report at a time... we may need more than 1 photo. :confused3 What do you think? I do love the idea of links on the first page... that will make reading much easier.

DM, sounds great! I can't wait to read about everyone's experiences. Of course, that'll mean that our trips are over so maybe I can wait...:sad1:

I have the same concern as kari about the pics. Is the idea to limit pics to one per day, or to post each day 1 at a time with however many pics, plus a separate post with one pic & a little story to go with it. Does that make any sense? I'm kinda even confusing myself! All I'm sayin' is I like pics and might want to include more than 1 per day.

Hey Courtney! I know you are very excited about your new house...I know you said that you are closing on it next week...when are you actually planning to move? Are you packing to move yet?

OMGoodness-- You should see my current house! It's a mess! I've got boxes everywhere. I actually ran out of boxes so I've been calling around to try and get more... The plan is to close on Wednesday (one week)... That night we are going to go there to clean, etc. Really clean drawers, etc. Then Thursday we both have work, but Thursday night we'll bring a few boxes here and there. I have off of work on Friday, so I'll be doing a lot that day. I can do a bunch by myself as far as clothes, boxes, kitchen stuff, etc. We have a painter coming Friday, and a guy installing wood floors in the bedrooms on Thursday and Friday. B/c of that, the floors have to sit for two days--- we'll move living room furniture in on Friday night; we'll move everything else on Sunday when the floors are ready to have weight on them. I'm so excited! And then, after Sunday the 10th, I can really start getting excited for Disney!!!!

How exciting!! I'm glad that you get to go right over that night and start making it yours!! I'm sure it will be even more beautiful once you get the new floors down and get it painted. I can't imagine us moving...we have been in our house 14 years as of this past Monday & we have soooo much stuff now!! DH wants to move soon but I think it will be more like a year to a year & a half before we do. Who knows it might be sooner...we go looking at houses every Sunday after church!
