Hi DM & everyone:)
Could you update my ressies too 6/22-6/24 at BWI? 6/24 we'll be having an early dinner at CJ's @4:00 TIA

Where is everyone tonight? I just watched Idol, am watching Dancing with the Stars and about to watch the ACMs.

Me too LizA--- I guess everyone else is doing the same thing so they're not on!

Nope - no tv tonight - just got home from church. Tonight was the first of the official "graduation activities"... The May Crowning Liturgy. I organize the whole thing as a member of the Liturgy Committee for the parish, but the school has a major role in it. I sing at the mass, also. Hard to believe, after all these years, it was "Dana's turn" to participate. It was really lovely. My parents even came and brought my niece.

I am really exhausted - it's draining making sure all the little ones who just received their First Communion this month line up and process the right way - then the 8th graders in their graduation gowns, then the ladies in the Rosary Society - oy - they are harder to organize than all the kids put together! :goodvibes
Lots of singing tonight - my voice is tired!:rolleyes1

Pool guys are coming tomorrow to open our pool for the season! (yes, don't laugh, I have a "pool boy"..... )

I worked on cleaning out the garage today. Tonight I have been trying to clean out closets, cupboards... etc I am having a garage sale Friday and Saturday. So I have been watching TV off and on.

I hope it's Ian! I love Apolo and Joey and Laila (sp?) so much!

Well, now the stage is set for the finals...it should be a very good show!!

Wow, it sounds like you did have a busy night. Enjoy your pool!!

We need to do that...we have planned on having a yard sale before our trip but I'm just not sure when we will be able to do it now!!

I just got home, too. Right after work I went to the park to try out my new inline skates. My husband and daughter talked me into getting them - I'm a totally uncoordinated person - never even rode a bike. Anyway we spent all evening at the park. I put the skates on, stood up, and I was too scared to leave the grass, but DH made me do it. I held onto him for dear life and got onto the asphalt. I shuffled forward about 2 feet and fell flat on my butt. Then DH tried to help me up and I fell again, much harder this time. I'm gonna be SORE tomorrow! I finally got to the point where I would shuffle slowly around on my own, so I suppose that's progress. I really want to learn how to skate - hopefully I'll be able to do it.

Just as I was getting comfortable inching forward on my own, a couple women skated by with a dog. They stopped right near me so the dog could rest, and we started talking. One of them said to me, "We're taking it really slow. It's my first time skating." And I was like :scared1: ! She was skating around like she'd been doing it for years, and there I was barely able to move. So then I felt like a total loser. Ugh!

I need to get my bruised backside to bed! 'Night all!

Does this mean I should update your schedule on the first post? :)

DM: You can if you'd like... will make me look like I actually did SOME planning, huh?!

I think we will Typhoon Lagoon on Monday - and then return in time to dress for dinner at my favorite Chef de France!

First thing I need to do when we get to the Dolphin is go to the ticket desk and figure out what to get! We have 2 days left on 2 passes... and 3 days left on 3 passes! That means Bob & I have 5 days in non expiration passes and Dana has 3 days.. need to figure out what ELSE we need... we want water park and pleasure island for this trip, too. I'm very confused as to the right way to combine and add all of this. :confused3

Courtney & LizA: Yes - I'm glad to be home - so very busy from now until we actually get to Disney!!! One "event" after another. ;)

I think you are singing for Courtney and others when you meet them...maybe you could sing for me too...

I was wondering if anybody else had any leftover passes. We have left over park hoppers with at least 2 days on them, there may be three, which I am hoping for. We cant know exactly until we get down there . Last time went to the Disney Marketplace, or is it called Downtown Disney? I can neer remember:confused3 . There is a place there they can tell you. That is what we will do when we first get to Orlando is head there to check it out.

Good for you for even trying. I have never been on skates. Well ice skates when I was a child thats it. Im a big chicken, I am also so NOT coordinated.
I am sure you will be sore today, but I know if you keep doing it, you will only improve :)

Ticket topic....

What kind do you have? Are they just the base tickets, no hopping? Or do you all have park hoppers?

I know this is a bad word...but anybody else going to the "Other" (non disney)park while down there?

took a picture of some four leaf clovers. can anyone find them, there are two.
Find the clovers all the time, decided that i would photograph them instead of picking them.

We are going to Universal for 2 nights after our first 4 nights at Saratoga Springs, we are not checking out so we dont have to take all our luggage over just a couple of over night bags.

We are mainly doing it to get the UNLIMITED front of the line access we get included at Hard Rock Hotel. We bought the front of the line passes last year and they cost around the same price as the tickets and you could only use them once on each of the listed attractions.

I do feel a little guilty about having my room at SSR but we are using our DVC points so dont really feel like we are wasting money and think it will be a whole lot less stressful than checking out and back in again!
