LOL I borrowed him. I hope it's ok.
You borrowed my dancing frog? No problem - he looks great in your siggie. Just watch out for the SIGGIE POLICE!!!

For any interested, BJs Warehouse has little handheld misters for $3. You fill them with water, and pump up the bottom to build air pressure. Then push the button to get misted. Very cool and no batteries! And small enough to not waste space in your backpack.
I'll have to go to both Wal-Mart and BJs to check them both out. Wal-Mart would be a "special" trip as I never really go there. But I love going to BJs. We love bulk stuff!!!

Housing & taxes - houses in my neighborhood 3/2.5 cost around $165K and taxes are $750...and people complain about the $750!
Sounds like a good price with good taxes. Now...do they have a Friendly's nearby? That may be the deal maker!!!! :lmao:

I know. I've been warned before & got rid of my fish but then I got my other fish friends upset so I put it back & put the previous trips on one line. Now that my counter isn't working I think it's ok (host exceeded their bandwidth)

I spend WAY to much time worrying about my siggie:rolleyes1

I keep changing my siggie and then get warned again and again. I guess I'm up to 4x now.

Is that a new tag or did I just miss it before? If it is new, what board were you on to get it. Wait...let me guess...the community board?

And what is up with the fish?

I rarely go on the CB. I got it on the DVC board. Spiceycat had posted that the TF never visits the DVC board and I posted that all I do is cheer for everyone that does get a tag. Lo and behold she/he showed up & tagged me.
As for the fish...let's just say I'm a proud bottom feeder!;)

Thanks LizA--- Have a GREAT trip!!! I'm sure you'll have a lot to catch up on when you come back!!!! We'll miss you!

I will miss you all too!!

Nope, no Friendly's...in fact the first time I ever heard of Friendly's was a few days ago when you were talking about it!

What store was it? Hoping we have one here I can check... since we are going for Crocs tonight! I doubt I'll get lime... I want something I can wear a little more than that. Maybe navy...

It was at Alabama Outdoors so I doubt you have one in NC. I only got lime because it was a really good price and I already have kakhi, red, pink, purple & pearl Mickey ones, I think I'm addicted...what do you think??

Wow. The DVC board, eh? I used to go over there when I wanted to buy into the BCV. But it turned out not right for us at the time.

I just don't know why the tag fairy has to "favor" boards. I think we are some witty people over here. I got my tags by begging for them way back in 2003!!!

And I don't know how to take that comment about being a proud bottom feeder. My mind is in the gutter! :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I guess Alabama is out now...we just can't survive without a Friendly's - unless there is a Chili's!!!!!

Have a great time on your trip. And you must read ALL of the missed pages upon return because there will be a surprise pop quiz at the end. Oh darn...there goes the surprise. :rotfl2:

LOL nothing like that. Its from something that began on the codes board. I'll have to fill you in at Off Kilter.

I haven't found the little fans at Wal-mart this year. They had either the misting fan, or a plain one that was about 4 inches long, and had a larger head. I just want some little ones. Avery bought a misting one for herself, and Tuck has one from last summer... Oh, joy! For any interested, BJs Warehouse has little handheld misters for $3. You fill them with water, and pump up the bottom to build air pressure. Then push the button to get misted. Very cool and no batteries! And small enough to not waste space in your backpack.

I bought one of those misters yesterday, too. I think I got it for the same price, at CVS. I rarely go to Wal-mart, but ran in the other day to find the fan/misters - no luck. Found them in Rite-Aid, but they were $7.99. The mister with the pump is slimmer, so it won't be as cumbersome. Those little fans I picked up that clip to your bag or belt are adorable and I was so excited that they were LIME GREEN!! I think we are set. I just came from Kohls and picked up two sleeveless tops and three soft cotton skorts. I must stop shopping. lol lol

Sorry...I won't be at the Off Kilter meet. I'll be at the meet the night before in Epcot. Guess you'll either have to PM me or leave me in the dark forever...:guilty:

I guess I need to revisit the first page. I can't get over there on the 24th. We'll be at HDD for the 7:00 show:sad2:

I bought Croc "slides" in black at Dicks Sporting Goods - I like them so much that I don't think I will bring a "dressy" shoe. (Bob says Dana & I bring entirely TOO MANY SHOES when we go away!) While in Boston, I found light green (not truly lime green - a little softer) Crocs at Orvis. Wasn't sure if I'd like them, but wore them twice now to break them in and I'm a believer!! (but your prices are much better than what I paid. :sad2: )

As for "Friendly's".... don't flame me, dear friends, LOL ..... I don't care for it AT ALL. The ice cream is nothing special and I don't like the food. This area is the "Diner Capital of the World", so if we are looking for that type of food, we tend to hit a diner. (most are Greek-family owned and the food is good.) I'm not a particular fan of "chains", I guess. Never been to a Denny's, really dislike Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, and not even a huge fan of Outback, even though the rest of the gang enjoys it. I guess the "chains" we hit the most are Applebee's, Chili's, or Bennigans.

Now I'm hungry.....popcorn::

We'll call me confused:confused: I'm looking over the meets and I must have missed a few chat pages. Where did Donalds come from? I though we were meeting at the Nemo show:confused3 I wish I could get over to Epcot on the 23rd but I read on another forum that MGM is having a special SW fireworks show & we can't miss that.

Who's coming to the Off Kilter meet?

I always love when people say "don't flame me"......

We don't think Friendly's is great food. We just love the value for the kids' meals. They love it. I would much rather go to Chili's and Pizzeria Uno. If I could jump on a plane right now, I would go to this little authentic Mexican place in Ft. Myers, FL, called La Casita. We all fell in love with this place!!!!

I love Chili's. I did like Applebee's, but the one near us has really gone down lately. Ruby Tuesday is pretty good. Now don't laugh... one of our favorites near me is Golden Corral. We have one that is really good - shrimp fried perfectly, steaks not overcooked, veggies with some flavor. I do know that this one is the exception... we don't eat at any other one in this area. I like it because the kids will eat well, and get veggies.

I think everyone thought that meeting at the hugely popular Nemo show at that time would really take a bite out of everyone's schedule. I think Crazy Kanga is still up for it though. I backed away from that meet because this really was going to be our 2nd "first" time there and we really needed to do things right, so I worried about making a specific time. Tnmomof4 thought the same thing as far as having to get in line extra early. :confused3

Crazy thought getting ADRs for Donald's and then rushing to EE would be a great thing for us to do and I agreed totally!!

Ahhh good old Golden Corral..We were just there on Wednesday night. We know it all too well;) On Tuesdays is kids night, kids are $1.99 and then my youngest is still free...so it works out well.. I love their Bourbon chicken there.

We don't have a Golden Corral here. Used to but it closed down. I like nice cheap places when you have to bring the family.
