:santa: CHRISTMAS CARDS at your home?? I would like ideas. Years ago I bought this Christmas Card holder from Miles Kimball but I have misplaced it in the move. I get so many nice cards and I would like to display them!!! :santa:

I put mine up on my wall at my dormitory with a tiny piece of tape on the back. :lmao: Only way we're allowed to put stuff on the walls.

Thin ribbon pushpinned into the wall every few feet of ribbon. I tie a bow with the ribbon so the ends look nice and also so the pin has some place to go. Then, I get those tiny clothespins from a craft store and hang cards (and photos) from the ribbon like a clothesline. Cheap and it looks kinda nice too.

I have a Mickey Mouse Christmas card holder I bought from Disney Shopping several years ago. I have it on the wall in my dining room.

I have wall words on the wall on my staircase, so I am taping the cards on the wall around the words.

I have the Disney card holder that is presently for sale on the Disneyshopping website. Even DH thinks it's cute!

I do just like my grandma taught me, I tape them to the door.

My mom carved a Christmasy design into a little wooden desktop sleigh a few years ago. Christmas cards sit in it just right so I keep that out on an end table and toss the cards in there.

I have a wire holder that is all these gold stars that stick out. You just stick the cards in there. It hangs in my kitchen. I think I got it at Christmas Tree Shoppe.

Photo cards of the kids go on the fridge. :thumbsup2

2 tiny nails in the top of the door jam connected with string. If a lot of cards, I'll add string down each side of the doorway. Then I slip the cards over the string up top. For the string hanging down the side, I punch 2 holes into the cards about an 1" apart & string the string thru it. They don't slide off.

This year, I have so few, I might not go to all the trouble & might just stick them into the bare spots on the Christmas tree. We used to do that at the bank I worked at. Lots of comments from people that it was a neat idea. Main reason we did it at first was because we had bought a nice new big tree & our old ornaments looked yucky in our new office. We didn't have any more money to buy ornaments after buying the tree. lol

I tape them to the chair rail in the kitchen, but the chair rail is coming down soon, so I need a Plan B for the future. Thanks for the ideas!

What are wall words?
I read them and then throw them out with the rest of the mail.:
:scared:

This is exactly what my parents always did, and what I now do.

I tape them to the wall in our hallway leading from the front door to the kitchen.

:santa: Thanks everyone for your replies!!!! :santa:

I have a nice recangular basket lined in Christmas fabric that I use to hold all my cards. At the end of the season, I cut the fronts off all the cards and send them in to the school PTA. They recycle them at the next years art happening. The photo cards stay in the basket, so I have several years worth of Christmas pictures together.
