DIS'er siting - Is your DS named Mason and were you just at WDW?

I think that I saw someone from the DIS while in WDW this week.

I was sitting at the bus stop in DTD and I saw a woman that I swore I knew from SOMEWHERE. It took me a few minutes, but I finally figured out that I recognized her from her postings here at the DIS. I am very shy, so I was too embarrassed to approach her.... Plus I wasn't 100% that it was DEFINITELY her, so I didn't want to feel like an idiot asking a complete stranger if she was a "DIS'er".....

In any event, if you were just in WDW with your DS (I am 99% sure I heard her call him Mason) - I saw you!

I am not Mason's mom, but I saw YOU last week at WDW!! My Dh and I were on a bus from Epcot to OKW the night Wilma started to downpour!!! DH and I sat right across from you with green rain ponchos on. You and your husband came on the bus with your DS (SOOOO CUTE!). I thought I knew you from somewhere, but when your DH got on the bus, I knew right away! I recognized him instatly from your siggy picture!!! I was going to say something to you, but other people on the bus were talking to you about your DS's birthday and the chocolate cake he got for breakfast that day, so I didn't want to interrupt. I thought I might see you again during the week and introduce myself, but we left Friday without seeing you guys again. I swear I am NOT stalker!!! Hope you had a great trip!!! We did!

That is SO funny!!!! We had a great trip. Did you get to Olivia's on Monday - they had Mickey, Goofy, Chip, and Dale there!!!!! It was such fun!!!!

No, too bad, we didn't get to Olivia's that day. We had no idea they were going to have anything going on there. We stayed in our pajamas til noon, then went to MK when it opened at 1 o'clock. So glad to hear your trip was great! Hope your DS had a great B-Day at WDW ! Hope you find "Mason's mom"!!

P.S. How did you like OKW?

We LOVED OKW!!!!! What a great resort! We were in building 64 on the 3rd floor and we were actually able to see the tippy top of the castle from right outside our door! We have a reservation in March to stay at Boardwalk, but I am seriously thinking about switching to OKW!

I have to admit this was without a doubt one of my favorite WDW trips.

I'm not the DISser with a DS who's name is Mason, but we cruised last Thanksgiving with a family who has a DS named Mason. I'm pretty sure they were at WDW recently so to give you a hand...is this the DIS mom that you saw? If so, I can help ya out....

Completely off the subject since I have a dd and her name isn't Mason...

but...

I LOVE OKW too! We were in building #56 (I think). We had a two br villa and we loved it there. I miss it terribly. I'm trying to rent point for 11/06 from the boards here and I'm getting no response.

Well, it was worth a shot! Hope you locate them. Have you tried posting on the community board with a title of something like... looking for Dmom with DS Mason? It might work. I met a DISser in March while in Virginia...she was our server at dinner one night...ended up she posted a query for me here...found it easy enough a few days later when I tried to post one about her. Same for when I was a WDW in June...met a DISser at the stunt show...she posted about it and I saw it easy enough.

Well, sorry I couldn't help with the photo...but maybe the suggestion to move it to the community board will help.

I would post on the community board too. It gets a lot more traffic than this one. Or the parks and planning board. (That is not the right name at all!! What the heck is that called?)
