Our kids have a different time for spring break than the usual Easter vacation, and I am wondering if crowds might be slower than what they had been when we were last there during what we felt was a very busy/crowded park(s) on Oct. 12-19.

I am thinking that early March will be less busy than any time in the summer - do you agree?

Thanks for any input. :)

We like to go late Feb/early Mar as crowds are "low" - if there is a LOW! We plan to go Mar 6-13, so we will be there! Hopefully many people will be going during Spring Break at the end of the month and not with us!

Thanks for your reply! :) Just the answer I was hoping for. :) Have a great trip. I don't know if we'll be able to swing going there in March, but we'll have to see.

When we went the first part of march 2008 chearleaders were everywhere but it was least crowded then other times we went.

I am not sure how spring breaks will fall this year. Usually a thread pops up soon with everyone letting us know when their breaks are. However I would just like to say that you are on spring break so there is a good chance many others are as well. I think oregon and washington usually have break the last week of march and many others are the first week of April. If there aren't many on break that week then I think it'd be a decent time to visit.

Thanks :) That helps. The Fairfield Inn was completely booked for our trip and it took me by surprise. I'd go earlier, but work gets in the way...who works anyway?

From past experience, early March is much better than later March. I have been twice around the first week to 10 days of March and other then cheerleaders, it's not bad at all.

This past March, we went around the 20 - 26th and it was still managable but waaaay more crowded than we'd hoped. We were there for 5 days in the parks and didn't utilize our Fast Passes wisely on some of those days. So needless to say, we didn't get to do alot of repeat rides and at the end of the trip, we didn't feel like we got our "Disney fill".

We are going back the week & weekend before Thanksgiving to see the holiday decorations. I'm hoping for lighter crowds than before.......but that's a whole 'nother thread that I'm sure will be starting soon now that the Halloween madness of over!

You could hit some spring break crowds that week. Our spring break here in BC, is from Mar 6 - 14 next year. I know alot of us BCers escape for some sun at DL at that time.

Disneyland seems to be expecting their spring break crowds at the end of March to beginning of April. I read about the CostCo "2 Parks 4 Days" ticket blockout dates (March 26 - April 4) on another website and though I couldn't find the original reference, here's the link to the Costco website: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...BC&Ne=5000001+4000000&eCat=BC|21124&N=4012511 4294912136&Mo=0&No=0&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&topnav=

I know the school district where I work and my older daughter goes to school is out February 14-19 and for spring break March 29 - April 2. Easter falls on April 4, 2010.

I went on March 15-17th this year and it was awful! Way too crowded for me...it was more crowded than when I went in August... :(
