I just booked our plane tickets....we're going to Kauai!!:cool1: I'm also officially out of NKOTB cruise 2010. When I realized I could book an entire week w/airfare to Hawaii for less than what a 3 day cruise would cost me I had to veto the cruise. Of course our vacation has already escalated to WAY over my budget but its our belated 10 year anniversary celebration. I am now saving all my pennies for the expensive tropical drinks.

Oh and somehow we are hiking/backpacking the NaPali coast for one day and camping overnight. How did I marry such an outdoorsy guy??

Amy

 Sounds like an awesome trip!

Awesome! Amy, you'll have to tell me all about it. I'm dying to go to Hawaii.

I'm out of cruise '10 too. DBf and I want to do a vacation with both of our families next year (either Disney or a cruise...or land & sea maybe). I doubt I could talk them into an NKOTB cruise. :rotfl: Somehow I can NOT picture Joe's brothers or Joe himself going along with that one. Plus, I can get a weeklong cruise out of NYC for the price of that!!

Can you imagine taking all of those people on the New kids cruise?:rotfl2:

Our party last night went well. No soccer games this morning because of rain, so we are starting to get ready for the friend birthday party that is at 4:00. If it keeps raining I will have 21 little girls in my house! :scared1:

Hey girls, just checking in quickly. We've been outside playing in the waterhose and sprinkler ALL DAY! Going to my parents tonight for a bonfire.

Also what is the deal with Jordan on Twitter? WHY on earth would I care who he is thinking of??? I had to log on and turn off device updates for him. The text msgs were about to drive me insane!:confused3

Be safe and have fun everyone.:grouphug:

Karen - I believe it's Jordan's next contest. :confused3

Amy - CONGRATS!!!! I think you will have a fantastic time!!! :thumbsup2

Heather - how'd the party go? 21 girls in the house? :scared1:

Kim - enjoy catching up on all the DVR'd stuff!!

We're heading out to pick up a cake to have at our Memorial Day barbecue tomorrow. It's Noah's b'day on Wednesday and my nephew's on Friday. Since we're not having their parties as of yet, we're just getting a combo cake to have tomorrow.

Noah is going to FREAK OUT! He's getting a Nintendo DSi. He has always wanted a DS and I always said no because we have EVERYTHING else as far as video games things. But this will come in handy on our Disney flight and our flight next Easter to Turks and Caicos. :thumbsup2

I'm off to the bakery!!

Hello ladies! I survived the weekend! The party was great, the girls had so much fun!!! Three hours with 20 girls (a couple did not show) makes for a trashed house, though! Cleaning up today because we were gone all day yesterday. My sister and I took my 3 girls and my two nieces (who are visiting Brian's parents from Minneapolis) to an amusement park for the day. Fun day! We saw a group of performers called Boys Rock sing a medley of boy band songs that went through thhe decades. Hangin Tough was in there! My sister and I were the only ones in the samll crowd waving our arms. :rotfl2:The last song was a Jonas Brothers song, so one of the members came over to my girls and I said that they had just gotten Jo Bro tix for their bday. After the performance, they pulled Emma and Kaitlyn out of the crowd and sang Happy Birthday to them. It was so cute! :goodvibes

Cleaning today and hoping to spend a little time outside before it starts raining again later. Seems like that is all it does these days! Hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day.

Well...we did it! Almost. We are booking the cruise in the the next couple of days. :) My mom is just waiting to get in touch with her guy at CruisesOnly. He is out of the office, so once he gets back, it's on! :) The deposit was more than we have at this particular moment, but my mom and stepdad are floating us for that so we can book it NOW! :) I'm sooooo excited!!! We are going on a cruise!! Wyatt is excited too, he was jumping up and down. My mom and stepdad want us all to go so bad, so they called us tonight and said that we ARE going and this is how. LOL

Where is everyone by the way? WE are way too quiet today.

Checking in here from WDW. We are at SSR on developer points, so I can't really complain since it's a "free" vacation, but we have one ghetto room. We are on the ground floor, in the corner, with our porch flooded by the building gutter and next to that is a service door. Since it's been raining so much, it's a mud pit. Oh, and we have a lovely view of the parking lot! It could have been worse, we could have gotten the room I booked for my friend. Hers flooded to the bathroom with all the rain! They had to move at 1:30 a.m. this morning, but at least they were moved to a nice room on the third floor with a great view.

Anyway, crowds are heavy, but not like I care since I can't ride the major rides. hehe. We also bought something for the baby (no, really for us) ... a theme park growth chart that shows what the kid can ride at each measurement milestone (we can figure out how tall of risers we need to get ... hehe).

We're turning in early tonight because Jason is doing the surf school at Typhoon Lagoon in the morning. I'm kinda depressed since we won't be back for 19 more months (I haven't gone that amount of time between trips since 2000), but at least we have DL next May!

Erin - Congrats!! So glad you guys are going to get such a lovely honeymoon!!

Angey - That's a bummer about your room. :sad2: You could always complain and see if they'll move you. But maybe it's just easier to stay put.

I remember our last trip it wasn't quite like what you're dealing with but our rooms at VWL had scaffolding outside BOTH porches and bedroom windows. (we had a 2 bedroom) We couldn't sit on our porch unless we wanted to hang out with the guys working on the place. They were there the entire length of our stay.

I'm off to find clothes for the kids. Yesterday they were swimming and today it's 59 degrees!

Sorry to hear about your room Angey!!

I've always wanted to do the surf school at Typhoon Lagoon. We went to a waterpark yesterday and the TL wave pool was all I could think about!

Sorry to hear about your room Angey. Hopefully you can be out of it as much as possible!

It is chilly here today, too. Gorgeous weekend for once so I am not complaining!!!

I started yet another new diet today. This one has real promise, though. All I have to do is follow instructions. As long as I do that it should work! Wish me luck!!!

Good luck, Heather. Is it the new thing that you let us all know about? I'm curious to see how it works.

Erin- Congrats on planning the cruise! It will be so fun:cool1:

Angey, the room thing totally stinks. Ugg, why can't all the rooms have a pretty view??

Heather- What's the new diet? I'm always interested in new diets :)

Good luck, Heather!! Is this what you mentioned on twitter??? I don't remember hearing exactly what it was but good luck!!

Good luck Heather! Is it the program you told us about on Twitter? I'm anxious to find out how it goes for you and if you like it or not (and if you make any money of course!)

I think I want to go back to Weight Watchers again. It's the only thing that works for me. I'm going to talk to Doug about it and see if we can afford it. It's $39.95 a month for the monthly pass, which is the cheapest way to go. I just feel like I HAVE to do something NOW!

Erin... Congrats on booking your cruise! You will have a GREAT time!

Thanks, Shelby! this is what I mentioned on twitter. I received all of my stuff last Friday, but figured with the holiday weekend, amusement parks and bday parties, I should wait to start today.

Amy... it is called Isagenix and it is a nutritional cleansing program. Not a colon cleanse but a cellular cleanse. The program consists of nutritonally balanced and organic (when possible) protein shakes and cleanses combined with a healthy diet. The average weight loss in the first 9 days of the program is 7 pounds, but the person who turned me onto it lost 12 pounds in the first 9 days! She did not have a lot to lose and it came off that fast! I am super excited about it because it is so simple and with summer coming, simplicity is good!!! I will keep you updated on how it goes. Only a few hours into day 1 and I already feel like I have way more energy than normal, even on a rainy day!:thumbsup2

Melody - I'm doing weight watchers too! After 3 weeks I'm already down just over 10 pounds. I've also been going to the gym every day, so I think that is helping some. I need the accountability of having to weigh in front of someone. It works for me. We pay $49.95 a month though! I'm realizing everything in Maine is more expensive than everywhere else.!!!

Erin - congrats on booking your cruise. I can't wait to hear when the next NKOTB cruise is because I am DEFINITELY going. I've already told hubby that is my reward for my weight loss (I know only 10 pounds now), but by the time the cruise is announced it will be more and will give me great incentive to keep going.

Angey - sorry about your room, but hey, at least you're at Disney. Hope you really enjoy your trip!!!

Heather - good luck with the new diet. Please let me know how it works for you!

Heather, my hubby has 3 months worth of stuff for Isagenix. He's never actually done anything with it though.

You can probably use it. I know there are some gender specific products, but if it the 30 day cleanse products, you can use those. we could be Isagenix buddies!

I'm good with our room (since it was "free") but if I actually paid points for it, I would have switched rooms as soon as I walked in the door.

The surf school at TL was a blast for the guys this morning. I went to watch them and take pics. They were both worn out by noon thanks to all their paddling. But they both said they would pay and do it again!

Wow! Where is everyone? It has been unusually quiet on this thread!!!

Full Service starts in a week, who gets to go to a show first?

Hi girls!!!

Heather - good luck with the Isagenix. I can't do diets like that, I'm a freak. I'm not into all those powder things, I think it stems from my childhood and my mom buying Shaklee products. My hubby is planning to do it though. I know someone that did it and she had a LOT of weight to lose. It was definitely coming off!

Angey - glad your room is okay and you're content. The surf school sounds SO fun!!

We ran around and did a lot of errands today. Plus Becca had dance recital practice and Noah had baseball, at the same time. Why do they always schedule things at the same time? :confused3

Tomorrow I'm headed with the entire 4th grade for their class trip. I have a nice group though that I'm in charge of so I'm happy about that. It's cute, Noah told me when the group found out they had me they cheered. :upsidedow That made me feel good. Although after the hour long bus ride I'm probably going to want to throttle every kid on the bus.

But then this weekend I'm headed away with my mom to a Ladies Retreat. It's so beautiful there, lots of trails, a lake, some covered bridges, an indoor pool and hot tub. (too bad I'm not bathing suit worthy) :scared: It will be VERY relaxing! I leave Friday around noon and get back Sunday around the same time.

Oh! My NKOTB concert is on 6/6...is there anyone before that?? They STILL have not called me about my tickets that I won. I bet they call while I'm away this weekend. :sad2:
