Ask Melody how she likes the masks! :lmao::goodvibes I thought she might have to leave during their performance.

:lmao: Seriously! She looked at me and asked me if I needed to leave! :scared: They freak me out! I have a fear of masks, robots and heartbeat sounds..... so, I was terrified! And being right there in the front row! :scared1:

Happy Mother's Day everyone!! :grouphug:

Masks freak me out too, so I know how you feel. I am NOT a fan. But I wasn't THAT close at the concert so I was okay. :)

Sorry to hear it's been such an action packed weekend with injuries.

Heather - what happened!??!?!

Melody's son broke his finger? Sorry to hear about that! That's why I had Noah at the ER, we thought his was broken since he got hit with a pitch at baseball. It got him right on his pointer finger. It looked NASTY!! Today it's MUCH better and it's not broken. :)

I'm off to deliver my Mother's Day gift to my mom.

Seems we have had exciting weekend... Melody's little boy has a broken finger, Shelby had Noah at the ER, I sprained my ankle... anyone else that can add to that list?:rotfl2:

Heh, I can add to that list. I ran Saturday and now have shin splints (I think that's what you call it). Apparently, I have flat feet which I have never known, and was wearing shoes without enough arch support. It hurts but I should be fine in a couple of days.

Happy Mother's Day :flower3:

Did anyone else watch Suze Orman last night? In her "Can I afford it?" segment, someone called in and wanted to know if they could afford $1500 for the NKOTB Cruise! She DENIED her! You know she'll go anyway! :lmao:

I can add something else to our growing list! Becca got her face painted yesterday at our local fair. Today she has a rash on her cheek and forehead where the paint was! It's all red/swollen and rashy. I don't know what to do to make it go away!!!:scared1:

Wonder if some cortizone cream would help :confused3

Oh my gosh...that's really funny! I usually watch that every Saturday night, but last night the inlaws took us out to dinner and I missed it. That's awesome!!!

Nice to have you back. Get your computer fixed?

I promise that was NOT me! :rotfl::rolleyes1

Yes! I do have it back. Not sure what was even really wrong with it, and what they fixed, but it is back to normal.

Can anyone find a clip from Suze last night? I was kind of looking but didn't come up with anything. Would love to see that!

Thanks for the tip...I did find some Cortaid or Hydrocortisone or something. It does NOT look good. :sad2: She's very glad she has bangs because it's covering most of the problem. I feel badly for her though, it's itchy.

It gets worse though...she's going to be headed to the dentist to get her other broken front tooth pulled. She is not happy about it at all but her new tooth is coming in and (this is gross) when you wiggle the old one, it pulls away from the gum in the back. But it also pulls the gum away from the NEW tooth. It's so disgusting!!! :scared1:

So, I don't know how we're going to get through it this time. She knows EXACTLY what to expect. (kind of like the Tower of Terror...the first time it's not bad, after that you know what to expect so it's even more scary!)

What's up with all of the injuries this weekend?:confused3

Mine was caused by a backpack that was left on the floor. Our back door leads directly to the basement so the girls hang their coats and backpacks and leave their shoes down there, right outside the laundry room. I was heading down to grab soccer jerseys out of the dryer, carrying dirty clothes down and didn't see one of the back packs on the floor. Tripped on it and down I went. It is not as bad tonight as it was last night. I am sure that it felt 100 times worse last night after I mowed the yard. It had to be done, it looked like a jungle! I spent my whole day on the couch today with ice and pillows to elevate. I am still going to the DR tomorrow. It is the size of a tennis ball so I want to make sure everything is ok. Happy Mother's Day to me!!! I had invited my parents and my grandma over for dinner tonight and had to postpone until next weekend. I felt horrible doing it, but I didn't feel like entertaining and hobbling!!!

I just bought new runnng shoes and had planned to start runnning again tomorrow. So bummed that I have to put that off now!

Dang, Mother's Day weekend was rough for just about all of us!
I went to the grocery store in the morning, walked out, unlocked my car with the remote, then jumped in and the car would not start ... dead battery! So, I called my husband, he came to jump the battery and no luck ... dead.
$80 later for metric wrenches to get the battery out and $100 for a battery, my car is running again.
But seriously? It seemed to be the hottest day of the year yesterday!
On a lighter note, I am deeply surprised, but I kinda liked Star Trek. Does that make me a nerd now??? Will I get exiled at MGM next weekend if I let that slip around all the Star Wars people?

My husband really wants to see Star Trek. I'm not a big space movie type of girl but I think he is going to push to go see it. Thanks for letting me know it won't be THAT bad. ;)

So, today I'm taking Becca to get her tooth pulled at 1:45. Please say a prayer that she doesn't freak out and make it impossible for them to pull it. It REALLY needs to come out. I'm so scared for her!

Good luck!

Trinity is horrible at the dentist, even with the "magic koolaid". They have to wrap her in the pediboard and her last visit where she had to have 2 caps, 2 fillings, and two extractions, had to be broken up into 2 separate visits b/c she broke free of the pedi board  :headache:

The second visit wasn't too much better but they were able to get everything done. This is a pediatric dentist by the way.

The teeth she had to have extracted were baby teeth and very loose and they pulled those out effortlessly, so it should be easy.

Trinity has to have an orthodontic appliance sometime within the next couple of years to widen her upper bite. NOT looking forward to that :sad2:

Good luck at the dentist, Shelby. Hope it goes well. Poor Becca!!!

Emma lost a tooth on the bottom this morning. She told me her tooth hurt and when I looked at it the thing was jsut hanging there, flicked it and it came out! :thumbsup2 Emma and Kaitlyn both have no space in their mouths for adult teeth to come in. I am seeing LOTS of orthodontic work in their future. :sad2:

My ankle is feeling MUCH better today. I guess laying around all day yesterday with it elevated must have helped. Unfortunately, today I have a huge to-do list. I hope it doesn't have a bad affect on my ankle. I have a Billy Joel and Elton John concert to go to tomorrow night and I don't want to have to sit down for the whole show!

I know it wasn't you, Karen! :lmao:

I hope we can all get over our injuries/kid problems soon! Good luck with the dentist visit Shelby  We take Nicolas to the hand surgeon today at 2:00. He's acting fine, so hopefully it isn't bothering him too much, but we've been dosing him with Children's Motrin regularly.

Hi girls! Happy belated Mommy's Day to all the moms and moms to be!

I can't believe the cruise is this weekend! It seemed like it was just announced. I re-watched the Today show with my cousin yesterday. She's coming with me to the PNC show and this will be her first time going since they got back together. She's so excited! :rotfl:

Say a prayer girls. We're having a little lunch before we have to go for the tooth pull. :scared1: She just went to her room to pick a 'friend' to bring with her...she's narrowed it down to 3. They're all Webkinz. We'll see who makes the final cut. :upsidedow

I feel so stressed out worrying about how she'll be. Say a prayer for us both!

I had my teeth pulled when I was a kid. I was nervous but it wasn't so bad! I hope she's ok!

Hi ladies!

Tonight’s Theme is “White Party” Wear All White or Almost All White

We are assigned to Group A for the events since we chose Early Seating for Dinner. One thing we're really fortunate on is we're booked in a suite, and all guests in suites get first 5 rows for all events. I'm sure some people will line up for these events well in advance, so I'm thankful I can fully enjoy the cruise and just show up at the time it starts and still have a good seat.

Oh, Heather, I'm not SURE this link will work, but this is the white dress I bought Saturday for the White Party.
http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.co...=Sale&onSale=true&colorFamily=&maxPg=11&size=

I'm getting so excited! I had trouble falling asleep last night...feels like I'm 7 on Christmas Eve again. These next couple days are going to go by sooooooo slowly I'm sure. I'm trying to enjoy the anticipation because looking forward to it is half the fun.

ETA: Ok, the link to the dress didn't work, so if you want to see it, you're going to have to go:

Click on the "Sale" tab
Click on the "Dresses & Skirts" tab
There are 2 pages of dresses & skirts, mine is on page 2, first row, second one in.
