Guess what? The little sucker has a sibling now hanging out with him. I thought at first it was the mom coming back. I walked outside and that one starts hopping all over and flying two feet at a time.
I think we have a case of bird abandonment on our hands!

I survived the field trip! The kids ate lunch as soon as we got there and we started out on a nature scavenger hunt when it started to downpour. So we ran back to the picnic shelter as it rained buckets and the wind started to blow. Everyone was soaking wet by the time the buses came back. Not much of a trip for the kiddos. Now, they are planning a trip to another park and guess who was asked to go. I get to do it all again.

We don't have much planned for the weekend. Soccer tomorrow and then a weekend with the girlies for Mother's Day.

Does anyone follow Sherri Shepherd from The View on Twitter? She retweeted one of my tweets this morning! Kind of sad how excited I was!!!

Just for the heck of it I just looked up to see what tickets were available for the show on 6/6. 8th row, center. I was shocked!

Is it 8th row Orch or 8th row pit? I'm in the 7th or 8th row of Orch, which means I'm about 15 rows back. Still not bad! I paid less than the 4 star people and will probably have better seats than most of them!

I watched the Today show performance last night. I love, love, loved that Donnie came out with a Jabbawockeez mask on and they were all waving their arms to Hangin Tough. And Jesse McCartney is now part of the opening act too??? LOVE HIM! This may sound cougar-esque but he's so freakin cute!

I just looked it up and they have seats closer that they released in my section! It's only 3 rows up but still. That's annoying.

So, I walk outside this morning and there's one of my little birds, sitting next to the porch garden, waiting for me. I'm looking for the other and find, um, a bunch of baby blue feathers in one spot with a few ants there Poor little thing!
If we can find "Blue" again before nightfall tonight, we're putting him in a basket in the garage. I know it's nature, but I can't stand to see baby birds picked off if I can help it!

Jason stopped me from climbing a ladder yesterday to trim oak branches. I was only going up about two feet, but he freaked. So, maybe he avoided me adding to our injury list on the board.

Happy Mother's Day! My guys let me sleep until 815am, when they called from Wal-Mart and told me to meet them at Bob Evans for breakfast. They are all so sweet. They gave me cards at breakfast.

We are going to my dad's parents for lunch (every Sunday, whole familiy is there, craziness LOL), then my Mom's. Baby Jacoby will be there, but I'm sure I'll have to take turns with my mommom and my mom to get ahold of him. I'll get to see my newest cousin (2nd cousin?) at my Grandmom's at lunch. My cousin Lindsey had her the week before Jacoby but I havent' seen her yet. There will be BIG competition to hold her there though...daggone big, baby lovin' families. We're all a bunch of baby hogs. My sister-in-law said my brother is baby hog, but then said our whole family is...and she's right. LOL
