My NKTOB friend and I got tickets to the launch party for Donnie's new label. I was so excited that I didn't read the info. Thought it was Saturday May 2, but it's Sunday May 3 at 10pm! AHH! That is going to be one late night! I will be exhausted the next day!

ETA: the dress code say fashion forward. I am in big trouble!

Hey girls!! How is everyone???? It's been a busy weekend around here. Just lots of little things keeping us occupied, you know how it is. Went to church this morning, then to lunch (very interesting on my diet), took Noah to practice, made Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins to bring to my friend's house (her mom died unexpectedly on Thursday), about to throw a chicken in the oven, get Noah from practice, drop him at a friends and then come home and clean.

Mmmm...those muffins made the house smell so YUMMY!!

Yesterday we went to see Monsters vs Aliens at the IMAX and we all LOVED it!! It was VERY cool in 3D!! Our IMAX is at the Tropicana casino in Atlantic City so afterwards we took the kids to this special little ice cream place.

Congrats to those going to Donnie's thing in May! I was looking it over last night to see what it was all about. We love them and all and if we lived near there we'd go, but we are NOWHERE near there so I am not about to drive ALLLLLL that way. But it sure sounds like a SUPER fun time!!!! I can't wait to hear all the details.

Well, it's that time...must get the chicken in and go get Noah. I'll be back later. Hope you're all doing well!!!!

I'll be there too! Boy, the next 2 months are NKOTB-filled with Donnie's launch, the cruise, and 5* in Mansfield. Did you get the general admission tickets or the VIP? I ended up springing for the VIP. Who knows if it will be worth it. They weren't completely outrageously priced so I just said what the heck. I think I'll be taking a personal day the next day. I have 3 to use before I lose them June 30, and I think we won't get home until around 3am. I usually get up at 5am, and May 4 is the first day of classes for the new semester. If I tried to get through a full day at the office AND 2 classes on only 2 hours of sleep...well, I'd actually probably doing what it seems Donnie does, lol.

Hope you all have a good week. Today's a holiday and I MUST be more productive studying for my final today than I was yesterday.

Happy Monday girls! I had the weirdest (but still nice) dream last night! I was getting ready to go to a NK concert, but was still in a hotel and some of the guys were supposed to come out to meet and do pictures, so I was waiting around for them. Well, it ended up being Jordan and Jon who came out. I was the last in line, so they spent a lot of time with me and Jon gave me a hug, but was really quiet (I even told him "Shelby says you give the best hugs"!) hahaha.....anyway, then Jordan was just all over me, giving me these big hugs and even kissed me passionately on the lips repeatedly (sorry Karen and Shelby!)....Jordan is #3 on my list, so I don't know where that came from at all! But, after that dream......ahhhh......

Back to the routine today, the kids are back to school. I went grocery shopping, seriously I went to get batteries for our scale and came home with $87 worth of groceries. How does that happen!?

I'm cleaning today!! Fun, I know...try not to be jealous.

I just got back last night from my weekend in Santa Barbara. The concert was amazing of course! The guys seemed to be having a lot of fun and goofing around more than the past 2 times I have seen them. The venue was only about 2/3 full though. We got there only 10 minutes before the concert and were about 10 people back from the stage. It was amazing even being that close...I can't imagine front row.

Donnie did get underwear thrown at him but he did give warning before he sniffed them. "If anyone doesn't want to see my sniff the undies turn your head at the count of 3" The guys ran out in the crowd to sing "Tonight" since there was no B stage. All in all a great time. My oldest BFF who went with me was going for nostalgia reasons ended up leaving saying it "was the BEST CONCERT EVER" and doesn't think I'm completely insane anymore for buying 5* tix.

I'll post my weigh in on facebook. Let's just say I'm not happy!

My hubby and I are meeting his client (the tour manager for U2) tonight for drinks. (I won't be having any since I'm not a drinker) What do I say!?!? I'm afraid I'll just blurt out that I've had a crush on The Edge for as far back as I can remember!

It's such a dreary day here, very rainy and windy. YUCK!!!

I just got out of the shower and have to dry my hair and then go get Noah from school.

Amy - I am SOOOO glad you had such a nice time. That's how we were at our first concert. We thought it would just be funny to go for kicks, we were pleasantly surprised and therefore...became addicted.

WOW!!! Nice dream about my boyfriend.......something you want to tell me........just kidding!!!! Don't worry I have those kind of dreams about Jordan all the time. Pretty nice huh??? So I was just over on the crazy boards because it has been a few days. I have to admit...something about reading stuff over there gets me really fired up about the next concert! I can't wait! Oh, and I told my brother where our seats are at Nissan (he has been there several times) and his response was "Wow! Those f'in rock" Made me VERY happy. Then he said that it's h*ll getting out of that place, so in my eyes, that's just a GREAT excuse for some bus stalking/facetime!

Is anyone here going to the Chicago (Tinley Park) show? My DH and I and our best friend are planning a getaway to Chicago that weekend anyway, so I am thinking a side trip might just be in the cards! They could care less, so they'll probably just get lawn seats (because I don't want to go alone!) I will most likely be getting a single ticket as close as possible.

Just wondering if any of you will be there!

Might be there. It is the closest one for me. Talk from Minnesota girls on the crazy boards that Donnie has told them at several M&G's that they are doing Minneapolis and he acts surprised that it has not been announced. If they aren't in MN, then I will likely go to Chicago. My BFF can't go to that one, though, so it is pretty sad to go without her

I am so annoyed with the whole ticket selling fiasco. I missed out on a lot of the inside scoops when I was out of town.

I couldn't even buy 3 seats together for the NJ PNC show. I ended up with 1 freaking ticket. I tried to get my other friends to get single seats as well so that we could all be closer. But they did not seem keen on that. And now I have this single seat and they want to try stub hub.

My other friend wanted 5* for the LI show but we snoozed on that. Does anyone know if they will be opening up more tickets for that?

WOW! I go away for a month and we're already this far into a new thread?! Hello, ladies! I had a fabulous St Patty's Day concert last month (I know...it's late, but I haven't had regular internet sessions lately). Now, I know some of you guys do the 5 star packages and get to meet the guys, but I'm SUPER excited that I met Donnie!!! And Danny, but DONNIE is my man!!! I have now seen them twice and am trying to plan 1 or 2 summer dates....we shall see. My NKOTB budget is now cutting into my Disney budget....what to do?

Are you serious?? I looked yesterday and there were 50+ tickets available in every section but 2. There were entire rows available!


Ok girls, I got tickets to the PNC show for me and my cousin. She loved them just as much as I did when we were kids and hasn't gone yet. I got terrace, right of center, front row. I'm going to see NKOTB twice in one week this June and these will be my 4th and 5th shows. My DBf cannot understand my need to keep seeing them and my friend Rich told me I need to have my head examined. Am I nuts?

Nope, you don't need to get your head examined. They're truly addicting...when the concert is over you are left wanting more!

So, I have a crazy day ahead of me so I just got dinner all made so I can just stick it in the oven tonight. I made chicken tetrazzini and almond pound cake. My mom, dad and grandmother are coming for dinner. I broke down and invited them even though I'm not a big 'have people over for dinner' kind of person. My dad is thrilled. lol They're coming for dinner and to watch Bedtime Stories.

I'm headed out in a few minutes to meet up with my parents and go to a funeral. My BFF's mom died last Thursday. It was very unexpected. She had health issues in the past but was doing really well now and they just found her in her room. It's very reminiscent of my husband's mom, she died 10 years ago. It was the same thing, she went to bed and she and my father in law were supposed to go on vacation in the morning. He heard her alarm going off in the morning and went in to wake her and she was gone. Quite a shock, she was just 56 years old.

Anyway...so I'm going to the funeral, the burial and whatever they have afterwards if it isn't just for family. Then I have to get Noah and head right to dance class with Becca. Then it's back home again to pop dinner into the oven!

Say a prayer for my friend if you think of it, she's REALLY struggling as she was the only girl and we all know about the mother/daughter bond. She's just heartbroken.
