Merry Christmas, ladies! I hope Santa brings us all more NKOTB in 2009!!!

We are just finishing a few things up around teh house, my parents and Grandma are coming here first thing in the morning. We area headed to church this evening with my Hubby's family, then to his parents' house for the rest of the evening. It will involve a lot of wine!!! Yay!!! Then home to get the kiddos in bed, Santa gifts in the morning, Christmas here with me family and dinner tomorrow night at hubby's god-parent's house. Busy, busy!!! I wouldn't have it any other way, though!

Next Christmas, since DH will be in Iraq, I am taking the kiddos and my sisters to Disney!!! I have never been there for the holidays. Can't wait!

Merry Christmas to all my fellow BLOCKHEADS :)

We dont have too busy of a day today, but tomorrow is kind of crazy. Here at the house then to my mom's by 7AM, then in laws in the afternoon and the movies with BFF in the evening (Tradition). It will be a long day. We will be getting up WAY too early. I will have to squeeze a nap in somewhere along the way.

I hope all of you have a great day and evening.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas. My daughter was up at 6:30 this morning so we had an early tree and I made our traditional Christmas breakfast casserole for breakfast. We'll have a late lunch/early dinner at my parents house later on today. Wanted to stop by and say Merry Christmas to everyone before we left.

Hope Santa brought everyone something nice. I got some new NKOTB shirts........just "getting my mind right" for 2009. Let's get this!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Well I am offically jealous! No shirts for me, I can put $ on it. Everyone around here thinks I have gone off the deep end about NKOTB, so I am sure i will get nothing to add to my NKOTB "problem" (as DH is now refering to it)

Ahhhh, but what a nice "problem" to have. Maybe we all need NKOTB therapy!!!

Here is the question of the day... my husband thinks I have seriously gone off the deepend over New Kids. He sees no reason why I should go see them again in 2009 (not like it will stop me). BUT it is totally fine for us to go to several football/basketball/baseball games in one year, seeing the same team play over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love going to sporting events (I think it is part of the reason DH married me :thumbsup2 ). I just don't see how me wanting to see multiple New Kids shows is any different. Do you?

I guess it's because at sporting events, there's different teams and a different outcome. No two games are really the same. Where as a concert could be. Not that I'm defending him! I saw them twice this year and am planning to go as much as I can next year!

We should! Maybe we're distantly related.

Since Lindros retired, Lundqvist has replaced him as hunkiest hockey player. And he's a damn good goalie too! I have a tshirt that says 'I wanna be Swedish like my hockey husband' on it :rotfl: Seriously, I know the sport well and love it, I'm not a total puckbunny but you can appreciate the guys good looks right? ;)

Heather, I think the difference is your hubby knows you dont madly, crazy, hottly love all the football/basketball/baseball players!:rotfl:

He knows your are going there to "drool" over them, over & over again so he is probaly a smidge irritated with that, its a guy thing!:lmao:

but think of the flip side, if he were going and seeing say, I dont know, Brittney or whoever over and over with his buddies you would say "And WHY do you need to go again" :goodvibes

Im just saying~

Oh Heather, he's a man. He's thinking that your going to drool over them and make a fool of yourself like you were 14 again, he doesn't realize that you're really going to..............wait, we really do go to drool over them and act like we are 14 again. Nevermind I have nothing to say!!!;)

No really, I think every husband probably feels the same way when their wives want to do something like that, mine has already told me one show in 2009. Well little does he know that I wear the pants when it comes to NKOTB. I will see more than one and he will deal with it. At the end of the day he knows that I love him and I am coming home to him and that is all he should be concerned about.

Heather - I don't even see where your hubby is coming from on this one, if it's okay for him to watch a team over and over again, then it's okay for you to watch NKOTB over and over. (I am biased though) ;)

Jenny - I do miss Big E. He was TOTALLY hot!!!! My husband was fully aware of my obsession for him too. ;)

danalee - who's side are you on anyway????? :confused3 Just teasing!:lmao:

Brae's Mom - I totally hear you, my hubby thinks I am all done with NKOTB concerts. YEAH RIGHT! I am going no matter what!!! :)

I just want to get the dates so I can plan my life, you know???

My hubby was talking about them the other night. We were talking about our 'lists'. He made the comment that I had spoken with one of the people on my list. I told him I only said hi and that was it. He was acting like it was a big deal or something. Then when I brought up Jordan holding my hand he REALLY started to have a fit, it was HILARIOUS!! He said I had not only spoken to someone on my list but I had touched them. I just told him it wasn't my fault that he hadn't chosen his list more wisely. :lmao:

I am just getting to check in with you ladies.

I think it is too funny that this is the topic of the moment here. My DH and just had this conversation yesterday.

DH asked how many times did I "THINK" I needed to see them, you have seen it once you have seen it all. DH doesnt understand "it". Then he about lost it when I told him how much 5* was going to be. So I called my BFF to get "reinforcement" as far as getting DH on board with us going 5* this time around. Her DH was like "How Much?" so it kind of back fired until I came up with the PERFECT comparison. We (Myself and BFF) asked our DHs if they were given the opporunity to go to the PLAYBOY Mansion for one evening for $400 then would they have a problem with it. Both said "that is a little different"- YEAH the only difference is at NKOTB WE all have our clothes on. So needless to say, Both our DHs are on board with 5* now- I am going to have a GREAT 2009. :) I just have to promise to keep my clothes on at the concerts, So I dont make a liar out of myself.;)

hey girlies! This week has been insane! Guess what another sickness! Dd5 has a double ear infection. Seriously we CANNOT get healthy in this house.

I'm doing some serious catching up here. I haven't been on since Sunday or Monday. Just did have the time. :headache: So I'm replying and catching up at the same time.

Dear God! A NKOTB cruise? :faint: Two of my favorite things. I didn't get an email about it either. Oh that announcement can't come fast enough!

Danalee - I hope you are feeling better.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. :santa:
