Heather, good luck sleeping tonight! I'm so excited for you, (and a little jealous). Hope all goes well, and please post some pics when you can!
Thanks! Here is the scoop...
I MET NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just had to get that out!
We did not sleep at all! We got into Minneapolis at 10:30 Thursday night and planned to sleep in the car at the mall but they would not let us park overnight. So, we went to a hotel parking lot and attempted to sleep in the car. I think I slept for about 10 minutes and then the alarm went off at 2:30. We gbrushed our teeth (in the parking lot), headed to Denny's for takeout breakfast and headed to the mall.
We arrived at MOA a little before 3:30 and got in line. At 3:30 we were number 56 and 57 in line. They let us in to the mall at 5:00 and we hung out on the floor in line on my friend's New Kids sleeping bag! At 10 we got our wristbands and headed out to shop and then to my sister-in-law's house to shower and get ready. We had made friends with girls from South Dakota and they held a spot for us in the fourth row for the performance! It was AWESOME! I have great pics and will post a few once I get them in photobucket. We also did a video diary of the entire day (used a whole tape) and I will
youtube it when I get a chance. Anywho, they sang Summertime, Tonight and Single.
After the performance they left for a few minutes and came back out for the autograph session. We waited in line and listened to the new CD that will be out on 9/2. It is so good! I can't wait to get it! When we approached the stage we had to put away our cameras and they actually took everyone's purses and gave them back at the end of the stage. It was a lot like airport security! No pictures with the guys were allowed so I guess Imight have to break down and get 5* VIP to Omaha! They balso told us no hugs

which did not seem to work out well as a lot of people were getting hugs! Here is what happened...
Jordan was first... nothing to tell. He didn't seem to be in to the whole thing.

He signed our lanyards and passed them to...
Joe... we are both Joey girls and he was great! My friend told him she liked his scarf which was kind of random but I think it is a good thing we could speak at all! Anyway, he started talking in this really feminine voice and said something about how it is a faux pas and I said I there is nothing wrong with that because it makes him memorable. He winked at me!!!!!!!!!!

He winked at me with those gorgeous blue eyes that are even bluer in person!!!
Next was Jon... he had looked really uncomforatble on stage and we were a little concerned about him but he handled the autograph session really well. He has the best smile. I said hi and he asked how I was. I told him I was tired after being up for more than 40 hours and he said he didn't know how we do it but thanks! He was great!
Donnie was next. I will always be a Joe girl but Donnie has caught my eye this time around. The man is H-O-T and sooooooooo nice. We were both a little star struck with him. My friend got a little teary with him and he touched her cheek and said "Darlin' don't cry"!!! I think she about passed out! Then was my turn and I got a hug from Donnie!!!!!!!
Donnie.
Donnie Wahlberg.
Donnie Wahlberg hugged me!!!!!!!!!!!
Still recovering.
Danny was next and he seems so nice. I never used to think he was very cute, but he has turned in to a hottie! I was still in shock from the Donnie hug and said to him "your shirt rocks, it is awesome". It just came out of my mouth. It was pretty awesome but I really had not planned that one.
It was over as fast as it started but it was awesome! It was so worth the wait! I wish we could have taken pics with the guys but we can't have everything! They said on the news that there were nearly 10,000 people in attendance. The place was rockin! I will get the pictures posted soon!
