Disembarkation Morning Breakfast

How late can you arrive if you are planning to eat at the buffet on the last morning? For instance, if times are listed as being open until 8:30, can you arrive just before then, or do you need to be finished eating by then? We have cruised many times so I am aware of needing to be off the ship on time, I have just always eaten in the MDR but this is our first time with Main Dining so we will most likely chose the buffet over our early morning dining assignment. Thank you!

They close the door at 8:30 and so things will start running down but I don't think they physically throw you out if you are still eating

We were done eating by 9:00. But they definitely closed all of the food offerings promptly at 8:30. I think we got in there by 8:15. The cast members were very courteous and cleaned around us and let us finish. There were probably still around three other groups of people finishing when we left.

The main thing is they want you to be out of your stateroom by 8:00 so they can start cleaning.

Just make sure you are out of your cabin by 8:00 am. We usually go to Cabanas/BBB about 7:30 and eat and the go back to the cabin before 8:00 to collect our carry ons and then leave the ship. this way we are not lugging our carry ons around at breakfast and we are out of the cabin by the requested time of 8:00 am.
