The only reason why I hesitate about going to Anahiem, is that for most of the trip, I have to take a bus. Yep............the train stops at Bakersfield. THe bus goes from there to LA, and then I hop on the train again to Anaheim. It makes it a little more difficult, but I still think I'd like to give it a go. At least on the Amtrak bus, it is only for Amtrak passengers. No one else is allowed.

Hey, Mel! Good to "see" you! This right here is why I couldn't take the train. I'd get so very car sick riding a bus. They don't do well for me!

Thanks to Kelly bringing Shane, I think I've convinced the boys to come to the party, too. Our plan, if all goes well, is to use the boys' bday tickets to upgrade to annual passes for them. One is Sept. 8 and the other is Oct 2, so we'd have them for that visit.

Yeah Mel I have thought about doing longer trips. I will be very interested to see how this D.C. trip is. I have wanted to do a trip up in the mountains like maybe Sac to Reno or Tahoe. I think that would be a beautiful trip! It is nice just to sit and ride and not have to worry about anything . That is awesome that you have done it so many times. Lynn just rode the bus from Fresno here and she had to do that bus thing as well. I guess the train only goes so far on some trips and then you have to transfer to the bus. I have ridden buses as well and they don't bother me too much but I agree with you as long as the "passengers" are OK!

And Michelle I was wondering about that LOL. Riley keeps telling Shane he is coming so I was wondering if that was true or not. The girls will be excited too although it is going to be interesting. The boys are going to want to hang with Shane and the girls are going to want to hang on Riley and he is going to be ROLLING his eyes I am sure LOL.

I will have to make sure that they find "other" friends. Perhaps Beth's daughters or some others. I know Zoe will be there as well but BOY did they take to Riley! YOU know what I mean! LOL! Poor kid!

For those who are going to RFC tonight, please give my regrets. I had everything all planned so I could be there, and then Zoe got sick overnight. DH won't be back in time for me to make it to dinner. I was bummed, I was needing a bit of pixie magic. Had to cancel our MN trip for next month and am stressed studying for the exam. There's just so much CA specific law to understand! Anyway, I'm sorry I won't make it. Give Bridgette a hug from me!

Oh yeah I know what you mean. THe girls adore her as well but you know how it is about "boys". They are starting to get to that age where they like to hang on them. But then Shelby has always liked boys. That is who most of her friends are at school. You saw how much she took to both of them (Riley AND Ethan) when you guys were here. But they had fun with Zoe too! They are just SOOO excited period! They can't wait!

I have costumes for the girls and myself just not Shane. I am pretty much thinking pirate for him since my costume is a wench costume. When I orig bought it for a party we went to he was Zorro but THAT costume doesn't fit him anymore LOL. Luckily mine is "roomy" and still fits me. But I am going to start looking for something for him when it gets closer. I just hope I can find something that doesn't cost a mint!

I just wanted to say Thank You to all of the girls sharing the celebration of my Mom's birthday with me. It means alot.

I'm going to "Lock" the group now.. so that I have a Firm number for the party bags I am making. They are going to be really speciaL! I can't wait for us to get together and laugh and talk. We will have such a happy time.

Have any of you seen the photos for the upcoming alice in wonderland movie done by tim burton? They are wonderful! I will try to grab them from the site I saw them and post them. It is going to have anne hathway in it and helena bonham carter.. along with... johnny depp!
