Speak for yourself. Dang deer like to move around the hour before dawn.

Speaking of which. Here is what happened this morning.

I was driving on the highway, minding my own business this morning. All of a sudden about 2 to cars in front of me in the right lane (I was in the center), a large buck jumps right onto the highway.:eek: The red Corolla slams into the deer. All the cars, including me are now swerving and sliding :drive:with our brakes locked to avoid hitting each other. Only the Corolla and the guy behind him wrecked. Both were OK, but the cars were pretty much totaled. The deer was injured, but alive and sitting in the right lane watching the cars all trying to go around him. I'm sure he was injured and had no choice. Not sure what happened after that. Once I checked to make sure everyone was OK, I gave the guy my cell number in case the police wanted to call and headed into work.

I like when DST ends. We don't change the clocks out here, so football is on at 8 AM instead of 7 AM after the "fall back". Luckily this is the LAST year that I will be here. Next spring/summer it's back to the east coast for us.

Don't do it, the Northeast is over rated.:rotfl2::rotfl2: I would think that it will be a big adjustment from HI come winter. We would love the opportunity to visit HI, but at $10-12K for a decent trip it always tends to be pushed off.

Well, the military only gives me so much say in where and when I go. But it's looking like Tampa actually. Looking forward to only being an hour or so away from the World.

Ooohhh! That would be nice. And if you need an amusement park fix, there is always Busch Gardens. I see AP's in your future.:scratchin

That is a must being that close. I love the idea of heading up for a long weekend or even just having dinner and watching wishes on a Friday night.

What branch are you in?

The deer.

It was alive, but I'm pretty positive the injuries would force them to put it down. The car was moving at least 65MPH. I didn't stay once we determined everyone was OK.

The Corolla was definitely not alive and no way to bring it back from the dead from what I saw.

Was at the World Series last night. Another title for Boston. Woo-hoo!:cool1::cool1:

Sure glad you stopped to help, Jim. It looks like those other drivers were just passing the buck.
