Discuss what Disney is doing wrong part II

I personally think the parks are very tidy (I also do not go during peak seasons) Everytime I go to WDW I love it more and more. The only thing id suggest is maybe a ride or two more in AK, DHS, and Epcot.

I really think they should make more rides along the lines of Splash Mountain and BTMRR. Rides that have a story line and a theme. Those are my favorite

The food options are o.k. I have never had BAD food at WDW. It is hard to make awesome, food as fast as they do for as many people as they do. If every person had an outstanding QS lunch, we would be wating in line for ages!!!!!!:rotfl2:

Regarding the dirty restrooms: I was noticing that the CMs are hopping all over the park picking up trash, restrooms included. I don't think that they are cleaning less. I have decided it's that people are just so much messier. They fully expect someone else should pick up after them. I saw people just leave paper towels on the counters, throw toilet paper on the floor, not flush when it doesn't go automatically...don't get me started on diapers! I think the guest's quality has gone down, not the CMs.

Definitely more rides, maybe throw in a thrill ride or two for teenagers/twenty-somethings. More rides would also hopefully lessen lines at some attractions.

Many on this thread have indicated that the value at Disney isn't what it used to be, higher prices, longer lines, lower quality food, etc. But I don't think Disney will be in any hurry to change things, especially with the tens of thousands of Harry Potter fans about to descend on Orlando this Summer (and I'm guessing many of them will most likely make a side trip to Disney as well).

The meet and greets at the new fantasyland will do just that and ease the lines on some of the more popular kid friendly attractions like Peter Pan. Also, the little mermaid ride with it's people eating people moving ride vehicles will most certainly unjumble a lot of fantasyland. Also, with the addition of Star Tours II, it will ease the pressure of TSMM and RNRC, and add another absolute must-do to the park.

I would absolutely love to see more boy themed character meals and events. Just one pirate themed meal would be HUGE.

The only other thing I would like to see is more variety in all CS restaurants for kids. It is annoying to have to search around for a meal that is different.

A pirate themed tortuga restaurant would be amazing. They could house it in the adventureland veranda where I believe they still have a kitchen. Plus they could open the restaurant to coincide with the release of pirates 4. Also, it would be an operational success because it would take the burden off of the other table service places and give a nice dining spot to adventureland.

1- fix Yeti
2- bring back old TTA spiel
3- fix Lights of winter
4- Bring back previous Spaceship Earth spiel
5- evict Stitch from TL...or execute him, if you read the newspaper at the stand by TTA he keeps escaping from jail anyhow!
That's all I could think of now, there might be more, but these are my major issues!

Also, I sure wish the OP would have worded this thread differently. Instead of "What's Disney doing wrong" how about "What can Disney improve upon."

I thought of one more thing to add. I think Disney should pay it's cast members much better than they do now. It's got to be incredibly difficult to put a smile on your face day in and day out, in all kinds of weather, 365 days a year and be NICE to sometimes not-so-nice guests. Front line/on stage cast members, custodial and all those other hard working people deserve a better pay check IMHO.

OK, I don't like the canned music on the buses and the boats and the canned voice overs on living with the land and other rides. I like to relax on the boats and talk to the captain or listen to other guests chat or just listen to the water lap against the boat. I like to hear a human voice on the tour rides. Its more personal and spontaneous.

We are probably cancelling our September trip. So far, no free dining, not enough showings of fantasmic, No MNSSHP and no nightime parade at MK the entire week that we were going. We may reschedule, but there is no incentive to go during such a hot time of year.

Miss the resort specific mugs also.

Good point I would love to see more boy themed atractions,I think It would draw even more new fans!

1. BETTER COFFEE PRODUCTS!! I'm talking better-than-Starbucks mochas, etc. sold at a stand in the parks every 5 feet!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT, DISNEY!!!!!! :cheer2:

2. Totally agree with more attractions and events for little boys.

3. Time to all-around upgrade Tomorrowland. It is really cute and retro, but hasn't been "futuristic" for about the last 30 years.

OMG-YES on the coffee instead of the brown food coloring they call coffee. The Universal resorts have Keurig coffee makers in the rooms. These make a fantastic cup of coffee- Disney, are you listening?????

I think there are plenty of boy/gender neutral rides but I agree with more boy themed events and with Tomorrowland needing a boost.

I like a good cup of coffee as well as the next persons. ESPECIALLY on vacation.

has anyone tried the starbucks little 'tubes" of (freezed dried?) coffee.

if so, are they something that would be considered a good alternative to the "stuff" served at WDW?pirate:
