Been working alot lately so maybe its old news that I missed, but while driving home today I heard on the radio randy jacksons top 40 or 20 or whatever, he reported that Discovery Island was being to changed into an attraction modeled after the show Lost.

Any truth to this?

Oh, this would be SOOOOOOO cool! Does anyone anywhere know anything?

I love LOST! (can you tell?) :cool1:

seems very odd as I thought it was over run with gators and was a wild life preserve

yeah, i don't believe that for a second.....but i could be wrong.

It sure would be nice if they did something with the island and the old river country area too, just no amoeba or gators allowed!

This has been around for some time. I highly doubt it. The word on that area is that it has been overtaken by birds and is very unsafe in general.

Aww man, if this were true, I would be jumping for joy. I would love to see like a totally interactive attraction that only allows a dozen or so people in at a time. You would pay to go in and try and solve the mystery of the island or whatever. It would be like an adult version of the Pirate Experience that Teresa did last podcast.

Alas, this is simply my imagination running wild. I doubt this is true. However, I'm sure Disney could do something about the birds and the gators. They threw out the eco-friendliness when they were rebuilding the treehouses after all.

I think this is about as likely as the Night Kingdom park that has been batted around. I have heard this rumor from time to time but I don't think it will happen. It would be cool if something was done.

I guess it can be a lost attraction as it is. Guests can be dropped off and 2 hours later picked up, if they survive the wild life. I can only imagine the paper work involved in getting that past legal.:lmao:

The show is ending.. It would have been great 3 years ago.
