Hi All,
Wanted to do something special for my wifes birthday,
Is DIscovery Cove worth the $$$$$$$$$??????
They have quoted $307 each for the Trainer for the day, and this includes 14 tickets to SeaWorld and Busch GArdens. We have already purchased these, so do they do a seperate price without the tickets?

I have been to Discovery Cove 6 times and four of those times I did Trainer for a Day. It is worth every cent. They do not do admission without the ticket element, but the price you quoted seems very cheap. On their website Trainer for a Day is quoted as $488 plus tax.

I agree with pp, Discovery Cove is worth it! Especially since they limit attendance to just 1000 guests per day, it never gets real crowded. Plus their lunch offerings have always been really good!
I wish I could afford to go every time we travel to Orlando.

Is it very expensive? Yes...

But, if it is within your budget, and it would mean so much for your wife, it is worth it!!! (everything is relative!)

I believe you should be able to return/cancel the passes that you currently have when purchasing the more expensive package. Surely Discovery Cove would be happy to do an 'upsale'...

PS: When will you be going... For me, it just HAS to be in warm weather... The water in the Dolphin areas is kept quite cool.... Boy, did the heated swimming areas/lazy river feel good when we were there... It was in May, but just happened to be chilly that morning!
