I understand that DC tickets include SW admission for 7 days before/after the DC visit.

In my travel party of 5, some are going to DC, some not and one will be going to DC, but won't be able to stay for a day or two at SW.

My question is can the person going to DC and not SW give their SW admission to someone that isn't going to DC?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I say no, that won't work.

Our Discovery Cove ID is a photo ID with upc code and the 7SW on bottom. We didn't go to SW but they didn't give us anything else and said this was our pass to get into SW. On back it referenced it as SW admission and says it is non-transferable.

Hopper Fan,
Thanks! I thought the SW admission might be non-transferable, but since I haven't done DC yet, I wasn't sure...

It is the photo ID that will get you.

It depends when you go to Sea World in relation to DC, if you go before DC then you simply show your DC ticket at the Sea World Guest Services window (the one marked Discovery Cove check in rather than the main one). Only one of the party needs to go in and show photo ID that matches the booking details and they will be given one day tickets to Sea World for however many of you are there that day.

At least that is how it worked for us two weeks ago.

Ditto this answer - if you go to SW before, you get day passes for the number of DC tickets you have purchased. Once you go to DC, you get a photo id pass that cannot be shared.

...and does the same apply to BG?

It was slightly different, we still showed our DC passes at guest services, but at Busch they gave us 7 day passes with our names on (we had been to Sea World a couple of days before so didn't have the full 14 left). When we went though the gate, both that day and later in the week, they never asked to see anything to prove Martin was Martin.
