Be sure to sign up for the DC emailing list on their website, and also "like" their Facebook page. Sometimes special prices are offered through both of those venues.
Not sure how many are in your family, but if you purchase one annual pass to Seaworld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens, you can purchase your DC admission at a discount. For example, we were planning on going to Aquatica several times anyway on our upcoming trip, so DH purchased an annual pass for his admission. This allowed us to purchase DC day resort admission for just $69 per person (no dolphin swim this time.....we did that on our January visit). Sometimes doesn't work out to be an advantage unless you have several people in your party, but worth crunching the numbers. Just be aware that the special pricing for passmembers does not include the 14 day admission to the other park of your choice (Seaworld, Aquatica, or BG).
DC is amazing....worth every penny IMHO!
