Am I missing it or are we not going to have any Discovery Cove pass member discounts this year? I want to really go again but don't want to book until I see if pass member discounts will come out. Since I am platinum pass member I don't need the SeaWorld and Aquatica admissions it comes with so I always look forward to those discounts. I sure hope we get it

Thank you so much you made my day. I have been watching the pass member page for ever and have not seen it. I just went back and it still says 2014. Maybe my computer is not refreshing the page. Thanks so much for the information.

I am considering buying a pass to get the discounted rate. Would someone please help me by checking the rate for Saturday, May 2nd with the annual pass discount?

The dolphin swim rate is $169 and the day pass is $99 for Saturday, May 2nd.

Also, anyone can buy the discounted pass member tickets, you just have to show your valid pass when you check in (we've been to DC 7 times in the past 3 years and in the beginning, they never checked [but we always had our passes] and the last two times, most recent being October, they checked). If you want to check what any additional days are or to purchase the discounted passes, go to Discovery Cove's website, click on "Begin Purchase", and "All Inclusive Packages". In the top right of your screen it'll say enter promo code. Enter PASSMEMBER14! and make your selections below. The next screen will show you the rates.

I'm so glad I figured this out because I could not for the life of me find it in the passmember's section! I had to go back to the print out of the passes we bought for our trip last October to find the promo code on there. Just purchased our tickets for 2/13! :goodvibes

Thanks. I bought a BYGOF Sea World and Aquatica Annual pass and booked the Discovery Cove day.

Thank you so much for this thread! I was looking at purchasing DC tix for August for my family of 6, it was running $2034! With the Annual pass discount its 1/2 price! That's crazy! It's only $1020! If I buy the Annual passes now while their BOGO they'll cost me $540. That means I'm saving $480! Does that sound right? Is there something I'm missing here? Seems too good to be true!

That's right! As long as you buy actual annual passes and not fun cards, you'll be all set! You don't get the 14 days admission to SW, BG, or Aquatica, though. One annual pass will get all six of you into Discovery Cove so you'll only need to show one when you check in at DC.

We were married at Discovery Cove and a bunch of annual passes that we bought for family members is how we got all our guests in!

Have a great time! :goodvibes

I'm still just amazed! It would be crazy cheap if we didn't do the dolphins! But we HAVE to do the dolphins, right? And we want to do Sea World & Aquatica too, so it's actually cheaper with the BOGO annuals then day passes at each. Do you know if those parks are worth going to?

SeaWorld and Aquatica are fantastic parks! Absolutely worth going to.....more than once, if you can swing it.

We LOVE Sea World. In fact, my husband likes it more than WDW. I think it's because there's more things that don't take waiting in lines to see/do (i.e. shows, animal interactions, animal viewing, etc.).

I think you kind of have to do the dolphin swim once. We weren't that impressed by it and have only done it once. There is plenty of other stuff at DC to fill your day. But we also don't have kids and I know if we did have kids and had to walk by the dolphin swim area on our way to and from everything at DC, we'd probably get a bunch of pouty faces and exclamations of "I want to do that!". It was fun, but the dolphin interaction is pretty short.

We went one other time back in 2004. We didn't do the dolphins then because we only had one child and he was too young. We however watched several dolphin interactions throughout the day. When it came time to book DH and I both agreed the dolphins weren't worth the difference in price especially since the kids will get to feed dolphins at Sea World.
