Discovery Cove for birthday present

Dh and I will be in WDW in April...no kids wooohoo. For his birthday next month I bought a package for the two of us to go to Discovery Cove for the day in April and do the dolphin encounter also.

I need some good ideas on how I would present this as a birthday present. I requested a brochure but am worried it won't arrive on time and I would love to get some DIS creativity from you all! HELLLLP

Could you print something off of the website? I'd wrap up a new beach towel or something like that, and put it with the towel.

Are you going to surprise him after you get to the orlando area or tell him before you go?

Why don't you get a tape/cd or download the sounds of the dolphins, get a little stuffed animal doplphin a bathing suit and goggles. Wrap it all up in a bag and write something cute about "Making a Discovery on his BD". Tell him these are the clues to his gift. Have a great time!

OHHH!! Did you order the birthday package that they do? I did it for my mom last year! Its like an extra $60 or something, but it's SO SO worth it. It includes a cake, a picture, and a few other things.. but the best was at the end of the dolphin encounter, they call up someone (planned in advance, whoever's brithday/anniversary whatever it is) to send the dolphin out to retrieve a boey and bring it back to them. On the boey it says "Happy birthday Rose!" or whatever occasion it is. ha.. my mom looked at the boey.. then got REALLY confused.. then she finally figured out the surprise! It really was priceless. They do the same thing for wedding proposals, except they put the engagement ring that you bring onto the boey, and the dolphin brings the unsuspected person the ring!

Oh man I needed all these fantastic ideas by December 19th! The kids and I made up a pretend book and the story ended with him going to DC. He LOVED it! I had not thought of the birthday thing because we are going April 10th and his birthday is December 19th so I thought that would definitely be stretching it! Thank you so much for all the great ideas. Hopefully someone else will be able to use them also!
