Hi, I was planning on booking my Discovery Cove day on the same day as Cirque De Soleil. My question is, will this be too much? My girls are 12 and 10, will they be so exhausted from the sun/fun that they will just be too tired to even care about the show? I want them to enjoy it but not sure if I should perhaps try a different day. Keep in mind though, the rest of the week we will be spending our days at the parks, so it's not like we will be just sitting around!!!

I just wondered if this is too much to pack into a day, I know being in the sun and swimming can take it out of you. Thanks!

last year ...well aug 2008, i done this and i found it to be fine. discovery cove is such a relaxing park and so much more layed back than the theme parks it was easy to do it all in one day. infact we found it a lovely way to end such an amazin day - it was our favourite day of the trip, although the kids may be exausted, maybe a lie-in the next morning might help them:)

I took my daughter this August at DC. She was 12 at the time and she is a BIG animal lover. I had trouble getting her out of the place. DC is a relaxing place, but do not forget that the kids will be active most of the time and might be just too tired to sit still and pay attention at the Cirque Du Soleil show. It is an amazing show and you don't want them to sleep through it lol
Have fun
