Discovery Cove Cabana

Hello all! My boyfriend and I are going to Discovery Cove next week for his birthday. We are super excited, but I am stressing about not having a cabana. I am calling everyday, but nothing is available. I mainly want one for that daily afternoon thunderstorm I know will hit, but also for some guaranteed shade. What does the shade / cover options look like without a cabana? Are the enough trees and umbrellas by the lounge chairs? Thanks!

Been 5-6 times and we never get one because we are rarely at our chairs and I DO NOT DO BEACH IN SUN. Get there as early as you can and you can pick where you want. There are lots of umbrellas set by loungers etc. We normally go for one of them but we have also gotten some tucked under the palm trees.

Keep nothing at your lounge that can't get wet - I take a plastic beach bag that zippers shut. They provide towels so just get new ones. There is cover at the restaurant, lots of umbrella tables there if it showers but we just hit the water.

So much to do you will find you are not at your loungers too much, especially since you can drink at the bars or in the water bar area.
