Discovery Cove - $50 AMEX rebate per person

I imagine this has been posted, but I didn't run into it...

American Express is running a promotion where you get a $50 rebate (gift card or cheque...can't remember which) per person on the full Discovery Cove inclusive package. I believe the dolphin swim is required. Bookings for this promotion need to be done by 5/21, which is only a few days away.

According to the discoverycove.com site, these dates are still open for this promotion: May 17, 20, 21, August 18-31, and September 1-30.

This must be booked on American Express and the promo code is AXPFLA.

There is also a $50 rebate for buying four SeaWorld tickets. I don't have the flyer in front of me, so I don't know if the code is different, but I suspect it is...

- Booking the Discovery Cove discount does not appear to be necessary before May 21. The May 21 date is the last date you can book in May before the summer blackout period that goes thru August 17.

- You will get the AMEX cheque at DC check-in.

- The promo code for the Sea World discount is the same as the code for Discovery Cove: AXPFLA. I think it expires the end of September..for purchasing tickets. In order to get the $50, you have to buy 4 SeaWorld tickets and I believe they mail the rebate after purchase.

In regards to DC, is there a minimum number of packages or can you just buy two and get $50 back on each of them? Also, is there an expiration on this? Would this apply to our trip in late October? TIA Maggie

On the DC package, there does not appear to be a minimum. If you buy two, you should get two $50 gift cheques.

I don't believe the promotion goes into October, but you could check by going to discoverycove.com and go into booking, plug in the code and see if October days appear. If I remember correctly, it only goes thru the end of September.
