Hats off to Tim ! The movie night was a great idea ... one I am sure your kids and all the neighborhood kids will remember.

Thanks for the review of the Earth movie. My hubby and I went to see it for our anniversary and we both loved it. Can't wait for the one next year on Oceans.

Yes, it was such fun, hope the kids appreciated it, everyone seemed to have fun. Yes, wasn't Earth great, I can't wait for Oceans either, looks AMAZING!

Finally caught up again - I just can't seem to keep up with all my DIS stuff these days. I love your blog! I'll be praying with you about your new church. I can't believe your trip is coming up so quickly! It seems like we just finished your last TR! I know it seems like forever for you! I can't wait to see how you like travelin' DVC!

I understand, glad you got caught up and enjoyed the blog as well. We have found a great church, been the past 4 Sunday's and are really happy, we attend a meeting there about membership on the 31st so that is exciting.

Hey Lesley, What a great thing you did for all the kids in the neighborhood with the movie!! That looks like so much fun. I'm sure the kids will fondly remember
all these great times & things you do together as a family. Heck in 16 days we are off to Disney again & my "kids" are 20 & 16 & still want to vacation as a family. I can't wait!! (Although I am starting to wonder if they will ALWAYS want to come with us)!!!

Good luck with finding your new church family. I am sure that wherever you decide to go that the Lord is watching & helping also. Having kids with sports & activities I know how busy you are!! My 16 year old is always into a sport & keeps us going constantly. That is one reason I love vacationing together. No sports schedules or other places to run to (except to the parks of course) & we spend time all together. Your trip is getting close also!!

Hey Tim and Lesley!!! Hey I posted this the other day, and didn't know if this would work for paying for the dining plan....thought I would repost in case you missed it......

Could you put the cash for your dining on a Disney gift card and then use that when you check in to pay for it??? Just wondering!!!

Also--wanted you to know Megan has two Cinderella costumes, so I would be more than happy to loan one out for Lauren if you would like....they are probably around the same size. Let me know!!!

We also have KI passes this year---would be so fun running into you there sometime!!! I can't wait for the waterpark to open!

Thanks, I saw these, cool huh!!!! I actually cancelled our waitlist when i saw that they have NO counterservice on the dining plan there, I couldn't believe that and we do need that, but we plan on visiting and swimming there for sure!

Good luck with finishing up school! Are you using the iphone templates for itinerary? If not, theres another way to get your itinerary on there! If you're using microsoft word or something similar there are apps like Air Sharing and Files lite (free) that let you put these things on the iphone!

Thanks. Tim is going to help me with the iphone templates, if I can't figure that out I did downloat the Files Lite, (THANKS FOR THE TIP) and will put them in there, so cool!

Good luck with finishing up school! I know how much you must be looking forward to it! My mom is a teacher, and my dad is a principal, so the end of the school year was always a HUGE deal growing up! Too bad I'm stuck in an office this summer... Anyway...good luck finishing it all up!!! Disney will be the perfect "end of the year celebration!!"

Good morning! Your blog is just great! Loved the movie night you guys did (can you please move to MY neighborhood?) and I wanted to say, very scary with the screens- my oldest DS(14, almost 15) is autistic and does that on a regular basis- well, lately, anyway. He does it from upstairs, too- it is REALLY scary! It's so good your DD will listen to you and not do it again. Mine hasn't done it again in a few days, so I'm hoping that's the end of it.

We had the same dilemma as you with church, too! We were very attached to our old church which was 1/2 hour away, and we did not switch to a new one until DS14 was 2 1/2- and we ended up switching to the church that he attended his 1st year of preschool with. It has been such a wonderful thing through the years, for all the reasons you mentioned. We are best friends with other families in the church, we actually just went on vacation together in OBX, and the programs like middlers, and kingdom kids for my youngest have been great- they are really forming fantastic bonds with their friends from church. So, it's out there- you'll find the right one- and I know it's hard to leave a church family where you're so happy, but for your kids to be with friends near your home and be able to DO the church activities because they can fit in with all the other sports etc things going on because it's near your home- well, it will all be worth it.

Glad you enjoyed the blog! We did find a great church and are happy there, taking my parents there on Mothers day, the kids love it too which is great!

Love the movie night outside with neighbors! It reminded me of sitting out by the All-Star Music pool and watching the big screen. Don't worry - your kids will definitely have times like that as some of their fondest memories.

Good luck with your church decision. It is very important for it to be a good move for the kids. They will make many memories in this place, make lifelong friendships, and may even meet their future mates there, so yes, it is an important, important decision.

I'll second your sentiments on Earth. It is an incredible movie that brought to light even more God's awesomeness. So, so beautiful!

You've got half the time on your Disney countdown as we do. We're at 81 today. Some days that seems like a big number, but with school winding down and other things going on, it does seem like we just did our double digit dancing a few days ago, so I guess it is going pretty fast.

Hi guys,
I hope all of my readers who are mothers have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow. We are going to church (at our new church) with my mom, dad, brother and sister n' law then off to a fancy brunch - can't wait!
We're down to 43 days!!!!!!!!!! Been busy wrapping up school, attending meetings and Lauren's mother's day tea (I'll post pics/video soon, can't find the camera tonight and Tim's DJing so he can't help me look ). Tim and Lauren got new Crocs in the mail this week, Tim made a trip to the Disney store and scored more shirts for himself and a dress for Lauren and shirts for Luke. Making lists in my head. I need to start typing the itineraries up and figuring out the Iphone applications (thanks Nicole!) to have them on my phone. I also need to start working on the budget/tips, etc. Counting down the days until school gets out.
I am excited - Tim's brothers family who live in NC are coming into town the day I get out of school. He emailed today and she has always wanted to see Wicked (one of my FAVORITE musicals). It's in Indianapolis starting the beginning of June. Well, we bought tickets, we're going to go to the 2pm show the day after I get out of school - can't wait!!! It'll just be she and I and then Tim and his brother and the kids will probably hit the Indy childrens museum, fun!!!
Busy day today of baseball and soccer games. Tim is in full swing DJing mode doing a wedding tonight. Next Saturday he DJ's a wedding and then goes right to an afterprom event from 12-4am, he's gonna be so tired! He DJ's every weekend from now until we leave, which will be here soon
Well, have a good one guys. I'm sure I'll start getting things done and marking off the list soon and updates will be fast and furious the closer we get, SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day! Just have to say that I love my apps on my iTouch. Definitely get WDW Dining. You can get all the menus per Park without the internet. They will let you know when they are updated. So cool! I can't wait to try it out! I have others but us Veterns don't really need the park ones - still have them though! I also have Secrets of WDW...that may be fun to read while waiting in lines.

OMG, I'm so jealous your at the WL, how is your trip so far? LOVE LOVE LOVE that resort (but you know that : ) I look forward to the envelopes, did you send them to us before? If so I didn't see them. Well, today we are at 40 days until Disney!
Here are our current countdowns:
40 days until Disney
16 days until school is out!!!

I had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day. I will post pictures soon - Tim got me two incredible Disney shirts with a Mother theme, they are incredible, I wore both of them and they are currently being washed so you'll have to wait for the photo's. Also got a digital keychain with all our Disney pictures loaded onto it, some Disney plates and cups, they were great. The kids got up ALL BY THEMSELVES while Tim and I slept and made me breakfast in bed (jelly toast and orange juice) It was SO sweet!
I just went to Lauren's Mother's Tea at school, I can't belive my baby is growing up. It was such a wonderful event.

When you get there you wait in the hall for your baby to come out, greet you with a flower and take you inside, I thought I would be alright, but as I saw the other mothers before me getting greeted I lost it and started crying as I waited for my baby girl. Here she came:

Once inside, they took a picture of each mother with their child:

Then she escorted me to my seat, this was on the table:

Then they sang a ton of songs for us, here was my favorite (for obvious reasons):

Then her teacher read each one of these sheets out loud and we had to guess our child, I knew immediately it was Lauren when they mentioned the spaghetti:

After that your child served you cheesecakes they had made and punch. It was cute watching Lauren bring over the snacks and trying to balance the punch without spilling ; ) I took this picture of the two of us before we left:

It was awesome!
Tomorrow is her preschool graduation, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. Tim and I are having a hard time with this one. She came home with her memory book from the year, she has grown so much this year, we can't believe our baby has grown up so fast before our very eyes (and for many of you who have followed our trip reports throughout the years).
Wish us luck tomorrow, tears will be shed.
