What a fun vacation!! Lauren's haircut is super adorable--I don't think I'd seen a pic besides the one of the kids dancing in the rain (which is great, by the way). I'd never even heard of that beach--we'll for sure have to check it out! And I can't believe you're so close to your Forever-Long Disney Trip!! So exciting!!!

I like them quite a bit. Sounds like the same format as Dis Unplugged. Unfortunately I barely have time to listen to the WDW Today ones so I havent listened to those you mentioned. I got turned onto the WDW Today ones from AllEars/Deb Wills as she recommend them.

I was reading one of your earlier TR and with that in mind I can't believe how much older the kids have gotten! Looks like you had a great time.

I know, can you believe it, my babies are getting so old! We have been going as a family every year since Lauren was 8 months old, so it's fun to look back at the pics, and sad at the same time!

Lauren's hair is sooo cute! I noticed that the Easter Bunny brings Wimpy Kid books......lol, my students love those!
It looks like you all had a blast! It didn't even look crowded down there at all. The beach looked awesome!

Oh yes, those Wimpy Kid books are a riot. The beach isn't crowded there AT ALL, it's incredible!

Wow, it looks like you all had a great time this Easter! Your kids are so cute! Lauren has beautiful ringlets!

What fun! Your TRs always make me excited for the time when our li'l family of two gets another addition (or two)!

I LOVE your creativity with the Easter baskets and eggs! I also love how half the kids at the Kazoobie event are wearing Crocs. They're not just for Disney any more!

Luke's a brave boy - if a seagull came at me like that, you would NEVER be able to get me back out on the beach. I can't believe how grown-up Lauren looks! Both of them are seem like awesome kids - you are all so blessed - but you knew that!

Can't wait to read all the planning ahead for Disney. Soon you'll be able to say "next month!"

Glad you enjoyed it. You know, it's funny, when the kids were taking off their shoes for the jumpables that night I looked down and the entire pile was ALL crocs but one pair, so funny! I know, my babies are getting so old. Yes, I am truly blessed, I thank the good Lord for that daily! Can't WAIT to be saying next month!

Kiawah reminds me a lot of Hilton Head -- where, you know, you can use your points at the DVC Disney Hilton Head resort...

I can't believe your trip is almost here congrats on the add on how many points do you have now? How do you like the iphone I am dying for one but I have a 2 year contract with verizon and they won't let me out of it. It will cost me 500 to cancel the contract YIKES.

I can't believe it either. Actually, true confessions, we ended up cancelling the add on last week. I kept thinking about it and decided with the economy the way it is and with layoffs in our district (more to be announced) we should wait and put that money in savings, proud of myself : ) HUGE fan of the iPHone, LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

What a GREAT trip you guys had! Looks like you had the beach all to yourselves! Too funny about the seagulls LOVED the pic of the kids chasing them away...they are pesky aren't they? How fun was that carnival, and for free to boot! Gotta love that! Sorry your parents and brother didn't have great driving weather, I would've partaken in some cocktails too! Kiawah looks like a great family destination. It sure must be nice to have all the free activities too. It is much more relaxing to stay in for dinner when you have a rental house. Sounds like a great family vacation.

It really is, the free stuff was definitely a bonus. Yes, it was also good family fun eating in every night.

Wimpy Kid rocks! DS (9) is a fan. I love that he now reads to us at bedtime.

I love the 4th pic down of Tim driving home. Check out Lauren's expression as if to say "I know, I know but he's my dad...what are you gonna do?"

This mini TR inspired me to take an east coast vacation with my family next spring break. Renting a house near a beach, or on an island, would really shake off the winter blues. Thanks for sharing your intimate family moments on vacation. What a nice read.

I know, can you believe how tall they are, my babies are growing up WAY TOO FAST! Wimpy kid does rock, Luke was THRILLEd and read it several days on the beach. Went back and looked at that photo of Lauren and laughed hysterically, GOOD CATCH! Glad we inspired you to vacation, LOVE shaking winter blues with sand and sun!

Looks like such a fun vacation! And free activities...what could be better?! I took my DD4 to see the HM movie this weekend, too, and we both loved it! I really wasn't expecting much, but it was a cute movie!

Great mini TR. Kiawah looks like a great family vacation we might have to try it sometime ... my family are big beach goers. Lauren's hair is just adorable. I love the pic of her and Luke with the coke bottles.

When I was reading the part about the seagulls all I could picture was the seagulls in Finding Nemo saying over and over again, "Mine, Mine, Mine."

I suggest you give Kiawah a try, really is wonderful! Yes, I was saying "mine, mine mine" several times : )

Loved the mini TR -- I'm adding Kiawah as another possibility for an extended weekend vacation (man, that list just keeps getting longer & longer)!

Glad you enjoyed it, I love her haircut too. I got a few inches off a few weeks ago and she was begging to get hers cut short and I gave in and am glad that I did. Hope you check it out, Kiawah rocks.

Today was a crazy day, I was up all night with a stomach virus from hell, so I had to all in sick on my first day back from Spring Break. Am so happy to be feeling better now.
I called T-Rex today and got us lunch ressies so that is done. They take ressies 6 months out - I was surprised by that - just so you know for those of you who are considering going to check it out.
Tim ran to Home Depot and got Mickey heads and got some stickers for us to do our countdown chart and we got it done as a family tonight, it looks GREAT! I'll take pics of it soon and post it. This trip will be here before we know it!!!!

Second...I am from SC and go to Kiawah at least once every year. My old roommate's family has a house there on Shoveler Ct. Your rental house looks like their house but flipped (with the carport on the right of the stairs). I LOVE Kiawah...it's so peaceful and the stores at Freshfields are awesome (and the restaurants actually). Anyway, I loved your mini TR. It made me want to go back now!
I also have loved all of your TRs and am SUPER jealous about your LOOOOONNNGGG trip!

You have shared so much stuff I didn't know! For one, I didn't realize SW gives a credit for a decrease in flight prices. I checked ours and now have a $70 credit. DH wants to plan a mini-Jan trip with it...we'll see!

Second..I didn't know about TRex taking res. I have to call them today b/c we are going on our last day. You called them directly?
