Hi Everyone,
I hope that everyone had an awesome Christmas (or whatever holiday it is you celebrate this time of year).
We had a GREAT Christmas ( I will update photo's soon). Our favorite family gift was from my brother and his wife who bought us personalized Disney shirts that said "Experiencing Disney" on the Front and "(our last name) Style!" on the backs, we each have our own character. We got our photo taken with them on as a family so I'll upload that in my next update.

I am bummed about the new 90 day dining window, actually, it makes sense but I'm must bummed because I love calling and planning dining and changing dining, etc. until our trip. HEY, maybe I'm part of the reason they changed it.

For now, I realized I uploaded our Photobucket pics from our last trip to Photobucket and never scared them with you guys, so here they are from our last trip. ENJOY!!!!

The kids were so excited to see Snow White. they REALLY wanted to see Dopey, but all 3 times we found her in Epcot Dopey was "resting". BUMMER! Oh well, they enjoyed their visit with her just as well, hopefully in 09' we'll see a dwarf or 2 : )

Here is our last day in the park at the Judges tent seeing the big cheeses right before we got our dream ears and right AFTER being awarded the Magic Kingdom family of the day (see the stickers) what a GREAT DAY!!!

Those are great pics!!! Lauren's hair is beautiful!!! Such soft curls. I love the one of Luke in his Star Wars fantasy!! What a great experience for a young boy to have. My DS never made it to the stage when he was young enough to care. Great memories!!!!

Those are great pictures! Thanks for sharing. So were you able to make your ADR's yet? It seems you can only make them for CRT & Chef Mickey's at 180 days . I like to book mine early too, part of the fun.

Love all the pics especially the luke/lauren mk ones. Its a whole new appreciation when photographers get down to childrens eye level, you very rarely see it like that!

Lesley, How is Tim doing? Is he up and about at all? Any weight on the leg yet? I hope he is getting plenty of rest and making some progress. I guess however that would mean that you in fact are getting very little rest..........

Our friends just got back from their Christmas trip to the world, so after hearing their stories and looking at your pictures, I am WAY more antsy to go now! I don't know how I will make for 5 1/2 more months AND we can't call for ADR'S now until March Thank god for the DIS!! Thanks for sharing all of the awesome pics with us! Eric saw the one with Luke and Darth Maul and said "WOW, THAT IS SOOOO COOL"!

Thanks for sharing the photopass pics, they're all great, but the 2 with Luke and Lauren with the tinkerbell are just wonderful. That looks like one you need to blow up and hang on the wall. Super clear and the confetti in Lauren's hair just adds to the "magic".

On with the planning now that Christmas is over, right?
Now, if they will just open up the ADRs.....

I just found this pretrip report and read it all and now I am all caught up,and can share in the excitement with your family before you actually leave this year.Usually,I have to catch up after you have already taken the trip and are writting the report.
Anyway,I have read all your trip reports so far,and look forward to this years trip.Sorry to hear about Tim's knee surgery,but the good thing with him having it now is that he won't be having it when it is closer to your trip,so that is actually a stroke of luck..if he had to have it at all,then at least now it is done with and he will be completely healed by the time you all leave for Disney.
Luke and Lauren are getting so big,and are adorable as ever,and Mickey is just cute! Also I loved the Amazing Race surprise Time gave you all,and am thinking of using part of his idea for my daughters 21st birthday coming up.So thanks!

I liked the photopass pictures you posted. I also looked through your last TR since we will going in June this year. We will check out at AKL just as you check in.

How did you like the Tusker House character breakfast? DS4 loves Donald and I thought this would be better than waiting in lines for him in summer heat. What happens when the park opens? Do you just start your day from the restaurant, or do you have to go where the rope drop is? Thanks!

Tim is doing o.k., hobbling around a little bit without crutches here at home but for anything decent distance wise still dependent on the crutches, that swelling and pain in his knee just won't go away. He is getting a lot of rest. Yes, I am exhausted from having to do a lot more around here physically and for the kids 24/7 but he tries to help out as much as he can, I'll have my Tim back soon enough (hopefully : )
We went to the mall last night and I had to push him in a wheelchair but it got us out : ) Glad you enjoyed the pics.

You know, I never noticed the pixie dust until I posted them, I need to order these and get some framed. How was their Christmas trip? We just heard from some friends who were down there that a few days ago Magic Kingdom closed down at noon because it was at capacity and then Epcot had 3 hour waits and was out of FP's. Tim said "And you want to go at holiday time!?!" but I do, wondering what your friends experience was. Glad Eric liked the pic of Luke. I agree, THANK GOD FOR THE DIS INDEED! I saw your post about hotels, OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I got Tim and read it to him, we couldn't believe it. what an awesome idea for the 4th!!!

We did like the Tusker House breakfast, not the greatest character interaction in the world but the kids loved it, they had the fun shakers/dance activity that they enjoyed too and the food was good. We had an 8 o'clock reservation and the rope was going to drop in about 5 minutes, we were stopped by a rope but the first ones to it, you get a major jump on the crowds and rides that way, it's great.
