:goodvibes Can someone tell me about your experiences on this tour. It sounds like it might be fun.
Do you know what characters we might be meeting on the tour? This would be for my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter.
From the description, it sounds like a sort of scavenger hunt.
Thank you for any help!

I will be doing the tour in a few weeks with my DS (7yrs old) and reporting on it for the podcast. I will be sure to twitter during and post on the boards right after. Then the report will be on the podcast in the future.

:) The only character that you will meet is Mickey at his house at the end of the tour. It has changed from a few years back when you would meet a bunch of different characters throughout the tour. Now, there are more rides (6 I believe) and only Mickey as far as characters go. We hadn't been on the old tour....so no comparison here....but we thought it was a lot of fun.

I really appreciate the input. I think that we may give it a try.

ok oc_tony- I think you have done this tour now. So can we please have a review?

Please:flower3:

Our family (myself, DH, DS 10, DS 8, DD 5)took the tour in October. When I booked the tour, I was told it had a maximum of 10 guests. When we arrived, there were 20 guests and 2 CM. When I asked the CM about the size, she explained that it worked because Disney's ratio remained the same. I had hoped that they would do 2 seperate tours, but they did not; the CMs took turns leading the group. The group was so large (the park fairly was crowded as well) that we didnt' hear what was being said over half the time. Our tour included three attractions, one of which was the Tree House, and ended with Mickey. Because the group was so large and our CM arrived 20 minutes late, several of the attractions we were to see/ride were "enchanted by an evil witch" when we arrived. Our family loves Disney :lovestruc but felt the Pixie Dust was greatly lacking this time.:confused3 We tried very hard to make sure our kids got pushed up to hear what was going on during the tour. Our DD loved it, DS 10 seemed bored. Not sure if it was because of his age and interests or tour problems.

We are WDW vets and October was our first time to visit Disneyland. Overall, we loved DL. I would even go so far as to say, prefer over MK. We have tried several tours/adventures in WDW and have always had a great experience. Not sure if we caught Disney on off day.
