Cheers Ian

Hi Ian. DC is opposite Sea World, in Orlando... very easy to find from all main routes, just follow Sea World signs from International Drive, I4 etc. Reviews suggest that it very definitely is worth the fairly scary price (over $200 each now?) although personally I have always bottled it before going to Florida and then not been able to book at short notice when there!!! Hope you find it great... let us have a review when you get back! Mike.

It a great place!!!, personally I think this is something you never forget once youve done it, the whole day(not just the dolphin swim), is great, food is excellent.

I'd recommend you get there about 20 minutes before it opens and they'll check you in. A guide will explain where everything is, you collect what you need for your dolphin encounter etc and you are all set!

Since they limit the number of visitors, it does have an exclusive feel to it - you will be able to relax and just enjoy the day! No need to change for lunch - choose your lunch and then have a table outside and take your time!

You will also have your 7 days for Sea World included - this is a great bonus as you will be able to come and go to Sea World as you please for that time without feeling you have to do everything in one day.

(Don't take jewellery to Discovery Cove - they will ask you to remove it in case it harms the dolphins. Dolphin-friendly suncream is also provided so do not use or take your own suncream).

They open to check people in at 8am, we were there at 8.05am and must have been about 70 in front of us. If you arrive early you are allocated an early dolphin swim and you have the rest of the day to expore.

It is a fantastic day, but of course the dolphin swim is not long enough, but whatever the time was it still wouldn`t be long enough.

Swimming and snorkling with the stingrays is also loads of fun, they even let you feed them.

We stayed till 5pm and didn`t want to leave, but the black clouds dictated that we had to.

If you decide to buy photo`s etc, try and pick them up during the day, don`t leave it until you are going as everyone also gets their photo`s then and the queues are rather long.

Have a wonderful time.

It's not cheap, but if you make good use of the week at SW then it's possible to get reasonable value from the outlay. They were also offering an "up grade" to add a week of BG as well as the week at SW for an extra $30-35. You could also opt to have your week at BG instead of SW as a no costr option.

Hi

We had a great time at DC, the down side is that the kids want to go again next time we're in Orlando!! Have to get ANOTHER part-time job! lol :p

Did i hear/read somewhere that at DC they video you in the water with the dolphins and you can buy it - if so how much is it and is it any good - if not i've obviously just made it up!
