Discover America deal on Universal Tix Question

We are a family of 4 and have one DD under 10 (she's turning 8 soon). I was going to try to buy a few of these- if I can snag a few at the end of the month. (3 days for $87). I'm going to try for atleast 3. What about the 8 year old though? Is there a cheaper way to get a 3 day ticket for my 8 year old? TIA!

I haven't seen anything cheaper than the Discover America deal. They only have 60 of those deals available though. You may want to keep shopping around. I was really irritated on Tuesday when I tried to get the Discovery Cove deal.

I was frustrated as well, because they didn't indicate the number of deals available for that one ahead of time. I certainly wouldn't have been hitting refresh for 25 minutes had I known that.

Basically if you don't get in within 5 minutes - quit.

The Universal tickets are a great deal, I've not seen anything near that in price.

I was going to try for the Seaworld tickets Tuesday also. Then I decided I have been there enough. Then I read that people were having a hard time getting them and they sold out super fast.


So I would not rely on those tickets, but if you get through them that's great.

Costco has them for 139.99 for three days to use by Dec 2014 any three days to use anytime. I know it not as cheap as the discover american but it is still cheaper.

I'm not positive it's true for the COSTCO tickets, but almost all of them will expire 14 days after the first day of use. You can wait until 2014, but once you use it, it will expire 14 days later.

I was shocked to actually get 4 of the Discover America tickets this morning. I certainly wasn't holding my breath, but I'm pretty happy about it! We're heading out that way this December.

You're being very generous on the time. They were actually gone in less than a second. I was refreshing my screen and pressed it right when the "Buy" button popped up and they were already gone.

My sister and her family are going with us for the first time and I was trying to get them a good price on tickets. Unfortunately, no Costco's in California sell Universal Orlando tickets (as far as I know).

I was able to get the Busch Gardens deal when Discover America offered it, maybe they had more available for that one, or for once in my life....I got lucky!
