Discounts when booking regular rooms?

Do blue card DVC members get discounts on cash rooms? I thought I read that somewhere. I want to add a night at POP in late Nov before our stay on points in early December and I don't want to borrow points for just one night (Dec UY) in case I have to cancel.

Not at Disney resorts, only at DVC, if available. I believe white or blue get the DVC 25% off.
Right now there are better deals to just about anyone.

Ah, ok, thanks. Well, there aren't any discounts out there for after Thanksgiving yet; so looks like I may need to call MS to get a discounted cash DVC room.

If you wait there will be room discounts you could use on Pop, they usually get released later in the spring or summer for the fall . This would be for the general public not for DVC. Values are typically ~15-20%.

As of right now, we are staying at SSR (home resort); so I may do a cash room there so I can stay in the same room the whole time.
