Discounts over Easter week?

Have they offered discounts over Easter week in the past? If so, when do the discounts generally come out?

We are going the week of Easter also and I booked just our room at POR about 2 months ago...I finally decided this past Friday to go ahead and make final arrangements/book the whole pkg deal...

We will be arriving on Sat April 3rd and departing on Friday April 9th...

I asked CS if they had any deals to offer me...she said "not at this moment" that they are waiting a bit longer to see how booking reservations for 2010 look like before they put any "deals" out there to the public...

So I guess in a 3-4 months, not exactly just when but if they see that confirmed reservations are down/low/not up to par compared to the last few years, they will start throwing some nice offers out...

I sure hope so, could use a 40% off or maybe even free dining or 4/3 deal...

Planning a trip 4/14-22/10 thinking maybe a discount will be offered and crowds would be lower but now am reconsidering. Did I book a bad time w/some having Easter break during this timeframe?

The first three weeks of April are some of the busiest weeks of the entire year at WDW. It is the height of spring break season and the parks will be packed.
