Discounts on DSi XL?

We plan to get DS8 a DSi XL...his birthday is a week before Christmas and two years ago he got a DS lite for his birthday and Christmas combined (his idea, as I like to keep his birthday and Christmas separate so he isn't shortchanged). This year he asked for the XL, and agreed to trade in his DS and will receive the new XL for both birthday and Christmas. Then Santa can bring a new game or two and accessories

I missed the 149.99 price on Amazon last week Has anyone heard of any good prices on the XL?

Amazon has the bundle for $179 with mario cart and some other preloaded games.

It doesn't seem like there's any sales going on for them right now. I think the best deal you could probably get to take off a few bucks would be at Target if you have their check card, it'll save you 5%. I bought 2 of the Mario editions a few weeks ago and couldn't really find any deals. I ended up getting one at TRU and using a $50 gc I had from a previous promo there. I'll get 10% back from their rewards. The other I bought at Best Buy full price, but i'll earn money back on that too with their rewards.

Target has the Mario one this week--- if you buy it you get a $20 wii points card. I'm going there later to pick one up--- I'm going to sell the card on ebay and get SOME money back! (I could be a nice fiance and give it to him with the DSi... but I'd rather be a cheap fiance )

the regular dsi xl is 169$ the bundle is 179$ but comes with a game worth 25$ mario kart. the downside the bundle is availaible only in red so no choice of colors and if you already have mario kart then the extra game will also be of no use.

any B&M store will charge u tax which Amazon does not have in almost all states, thatg is a saving of nearly 13$
