Discounts on Disney Broadway shows????

Does anyone know if as DVC members, do we get any discount on any of the Disney Broadway shows? There are a few of them out there now (Tarzan, Mary Poppins, Beauty & the Beast, and Lion King). Just was curious if we got any discount on the tickets.

No, to my knowledge we do not get Broadway Show or Disney on Ice discounts...the old Magic Kingdom Club/Disney Club occasionally received tose type of discounts, and I agree it would be a nice "perk" for DVC. But maybe because so many members live in the NYC area they feel it may be overused in that region, and have "limited appeal" for the traveling productions. Or maybe the MKC/DC discount wasn't popular enough for them to justify implementing it and reaching agreements with ticketmaster, etc.

Just FYI .. I know you used to be able to get discounts thru the Disney Visa. Sometimes, they would have promos for free pins and other souvenirs.

But I would love a DVC discount .. or perferred seating at Disney shows!

I think I remember being offered a "limited time only" discount for Tarzan tix before it actually opened.

When does Mary Poppins officially debut in NYC? Maybe they will run the same kind of promo. Then again, the buzz on MP is strong while it was not for Tarzan so maybe no reason for an incentive this go around.

The only deal I was aware of for Broadway was that the Disney credit card offered holders a chance to buy tickets to Tarzan and MP earlier than when they went on sale to the general public.

MP "officially" opens on November 16. We have tickets to a preview showing the weekend before. Previews start on October 14.
