Discounts last fall??

If any of you went last fall and had a discounted package, do you remember how much it was? I can't remember how much we saved when we went in 2006. Thinking ahead for this October but it will depend on what kind of discount we can get.

There was a Free Dining special during Aug/Sept. The last day for your first day of stay had to be Sept 22, 2007. That was our first day and we left Sept 29. We stayed at a value resort and had 8 day hopper passes. We found the hopper to not be used due to all the planning and making sure we were where we had to be for dinner. The cost for 2 adults was only 1196. During our stay WDW offered a bounce back program if you booked for 2008 while you were there you received the Free Dining this year. The last day for the first day of stay with that offer was Sept 27. This is a week later than the current Free Dining offer. My daughter booked it and will be there for the Food Festival.
