Discounts for Spring 2006

Does Disney world typically offer any discounts towards the end of March? I know this is Spring break, just wondering if I should book now or hope for a discount....

Check here - looks like there might be something in the works for early 2006.

However, I think.....and I'm no planning professional....someone else may be able to verify this...but, I think that if you book now, and a discount becomes available, you can apply that at a later date.

I'm not going until 10/06 but as soon as my AAA travel agent gets back from her vacation next weeek, I'm booking. And, she told me that if a discount comes out, she can apply it to my ressie!

spring break is one of the busiest times at WDW. (in florida in general) - Easter and Christmas to NY - are the only times busier.

Not really too worried about the crowds, was there in 2004 for spring break and it was not bad really. With the Fastpasses I didn't wait longer then 20 minutes for anything

When I talked with CRO yesterday to make my ressie for our March 2006 trip, the very nice CM said that because Easter was not until mid April she thought there was a good chance of either a pin code discount or "other" type of discount if advanced reservations expectations were lower than projected by CRO for March. But I suppose that could apply for every month at Disney lol.

You might try the SWan /Dolphin. The last time we went at Spring Break they were the only ones offering a discount. I really enjoyed the Swan.

There was a room only code for the end of March in 2005. I think the code was for 1/15 - 4/15. Easter was the last Sunday in March this year.

I've gotten some sort of discount the last three or four spring breaks (including around easter). Not so sure there will be much this coming year though.
