If I book 2 cabins, would I be able to get a discounted rate for them? Or is just for several cabins? TIA

We did not get any kind of a discount when we booked 2 rooms for our cruise.

Nope, afraid not. As a matter of fact, we had to pay adult rates for two of our kids b/c they charge adult rate for the first two passengers in a room, no matter how old they are. Still, it's worth it to me since we'll have two bathrooms, two TV's, and room for the kids to sleep while we watch TV in the other room.

I think you need 8 cabins or more for a discounted rate.

That's correct...you count as a "group" and become eligible for group perks at 8 cabins. Even then, it's really not a discount, just some help with planning and special goodies.
