Discounts for Keystone, CO

Does anyone live in the Denver area? Are there discounts to be had on lift tickets and rentals? Is the Summit Stage effective in getting a family from one resort or town to another? Is there anyplace to rent a car there? We have airport transfers, but I think we'd like a car for a day or so.

Any information would be appreciated!

Hello, I lived in Breckenridge for 8 years. DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY ON THE SUMMIT STAGE. We call it the SCUMMIT STAGE. As for deals, the best deals are usally offered outside of Colorado to bring people in as part of packages. What are you needing and where are you staying? I can give you tons of info. I love to be useful.

To answer you question about the rental car. If you are staying at Keystone 303-496-4FUN. They may have an on site rental service now althought they did not when I was there. There is a reliable rental agency in Frisco, I think it is enterprise and they may pick you up.

Thank you so much! Okay....bus around the county out....rental car in! Is Frisco close enough for Enterprise to work? I went through a few rental agencies, but Keystone never showed as an option. I will try Enterprise though, or just call Keystone. Thanks!!

By the way....what is wrong with the bus....just nasty dirty or down right scary? I thought we'd love to spend a day in Breckenridge looking around the town, but if we can't get a car, the bus might be the only option.

The bus has some really questionable people on it. I was in law enforcement there. I actually have a friend whose husband is a driver for the stage. He is a great guy but he difinately has stories. If you are staying at Keystone Resort - their version of On Property. You can take the KAB bus from the Keystone Lodge to Breckenridge. That bus would probably be Okay. Can I recommend Dining for you? What would you be looking for? "OOOooohh this is fun"....

What is the KAB? Is that included if you are staying in a Keystone property?

And you were right...I can get a car from Frisco. Not sure if we'll need one, but at least I know I can get one if necessary. I'm not sure we ought to be driving around in the snow though....those mountains look pretty steep if we were to slide!!

If you have any info on Beaver Creek, too, I'd love to have it. We picked Beaver Creek because of the ski school (and their willingness to carry/administer meds to our kids).

We'll drive our own car.

To save on lodging we'll stay down in Avon...possibly at The Seasons at Avon (cheapest 2 bedroom condo I found...we want to cook our own meals.) Any info on this property? Best price I've found is $199/night for the 2 bedroom. We're going at Peak.
