Discounts for July 8, 2005

We want to stay at the BC for 3 nights following a VWL stay. Does anyone know if codes are usually available for the BC around this time, or should I go ahead and join AAA to at least get a 10% off rate? Mousesaver's historical codes chart says for the past 2 years these dates become available in May, but if I wait, are there likely to be rooms available at BC? Does anyone know what they paid last year after the 4th of July for a standard BC room?

Also, do they only set aside a certain number of AAA discounts? If I book now, then try to apply a AAA code after joining in May, will they be gone?

There are a certain number of rooms set aside for discounts, whether it's AP or AAA. Once the discounted rooms are booked, there aren't anymore discounts unless someone cancels. I'd call and check the availability of AAA discounted rooms before I joined, as several posters have reported that some dates are sold out for AAA. Odds are, disocunts for AAA won't be available in May for July.

We always go around the same time that you're going to be there and have never had a problem securing an AP rate at the GF or the BWI. You can book now and change your reservation to the discounted rate if the AP rates come out. This is what we do (we're booked with a AAA rate now) so at least we know we have the room we want even if the discounts aren't released.
