Discounts for DCL cruise?

Is their any kind of discount for DVC members when booking a DCL cruise using just cash or points/cash combined?

I am not aware of any. We have always done the cruise on cash right when the booking window opens and then rented points. The earlier you book on cash the more of a discount you get. When we took our July cruise the points were valued at $6.5 per point so when you value your points at least $10 per point we would have paid a lot more than a non DVC member. We just booked our cruise for July 2009. Good luck.
